What? GCI's first out-and-back woodie? :)
What would you call Lightning racer? It's a double out and back to me and a awesomely fun ride with actual airtime :) Not a lot but one real good float after the first turn around.
I am thinking 90 deegrees turn aswell. Never thought SFMM would get a clone, this is one of Six Flags big parks and as i know so far the only one that will get a coaster in 2009.
This one will be unique and fun! Can't wait

More forceless 90 degree banked turns. Yay.
Maybe it will have over-banked turns and arguably go upside down...yay.

My last post (John Conner) was me trying to be funny, Moosh. I know where the coaster is going, silly. lol.
Theming the trains would be really cool, even if it does run on a natural wood track. A metal structure would be nice.

They could theme the coaster to a copy machine, and if it rocks, I'm there!
Yeah. The "Xerox Express,"sponsord by Kinko's. It would be two identical coasters, staffed with identical twins on each side, and theamed to a cloning lab.
This begs one question that may open Pandora's box: If two coasters are identical, does it count as two credits?

I drive in & out of Boston, so I ride coasters to relax!
I don't care what it's called or how it's themed. It's a GCI wood coaster at a park that needs a good wood coaster. What's the problem?
Isn't Renegade an out-and-back?
Kinda sorta, but then again Voyage is, too, so I think the meaning has changed a bit in recent years. :) Back in the early days of GCI they had published a concept drawing of a pretty much straight ahead traditional out and back type coaster. I doubt that's what's happening here, though.
How are they going to fit an out & back layout into the same plot of land that Psyclone occupied?

Actually, I just took a peek on Google Earth, and I think there is plenty of room if they expand North past the original Psyclone footprint.

"Six Flags Magic Mountain announces new GCI Jr. Wooden Coaster"
Family ride will top out at 45ft. and travel along 1500ft. of track.
I can think of a certain steel coaster that should have been made of wood based on theme alone...cough, cough...Maverick anyone?
I think Prowler is about as close to an Out n Back as GCI is going to get.

Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
Back to the name... I don't get with Terminator with wooden coaster but I can see it being called "Termite" and I can connect it with wood! But Terminator? Try again Six Flags.
