So NOW I know what you guys have been listening to while riding Mforce! All this time I thought you two were sharing brainwaves. ;-)

I am anxious to hear the new stuff though!

There's nothing to think about. Go! I saw them a few different times, and even though I would love to see Oleta myself, this new/old lineup is brilliant.
Enjoy, and save some Mother's Talk for me.

I just got e-mail saying they're playing LA in a couple of weeks. Vegas this Saturday. I so wish they'd get out here.

Rob, you'll be happy to know I might be seeing Muse in concert next month!
The best band EVAR. :) Good call, Kristin! You'll love 'em. It's brilliant showmanship!! Count me *jealous*!

Holy crap!
Someone else likes Galactic Cowboys?
I kid you not. Today while at work I played each and every GC disc. In the car I have the new double live King's X disc.
In my DVD player is the new live Dream Theater disc which made my jaw hit the floor for most of the show.

If you enjoy Radiohead, the Muse albums Absolution, Origin of Symmetry (my fave by them- Bliss will hook you), and Showbiz are must-listens. I recommend sampling them even if you don't like Radiohead. They're putting on a "Low Dough" concert (5 bucks) at the Newport in Columbus later this month and I would suggest going if you're in the area. I hear they put on a great show.
*edit: Kristin so beat me

And if only Daft Punk would release something new, anything new, as well as Stardust, I'd be in illustrious extacy...

But they are on my Launchcast Radio Station:).
Shins, New Pornographers, and Gomez are a couple of other good bands you only hear in the background of MTV promos, though The Shins will bust out of that soon because of Garden State.

I may need to look them up when I get home 2morrow...
Thats one thing I miss about living in a college/party town. The DJs (esp. the ones @ the 'alternative' clubs) played the best music. There is still some stuff I heard that i have no Idea who it was:(.
And speaking of Discovery, Best Daft Punk Album. Period;).
