Let me know when Erasure re-unites. LOLShaggy
Why doesn't Tony surf here more often, LOL.
"Schnapps!" get your butt in here, there's Erasure-talk! ;)
Erasure never broke up.
They've released 13 full-length CDs, 4 mini-CDs, and 35 singles in 18 years. Most recently they released "Lifeboat" in 2000 and two Cds in 2003: "Other People's Songs" [a collection of covers] and a greatest hits package. Their 36th single and 14th full-length CD comes out early next year.
The problem is that radio has all but abandonned them, although they did score a minor radio hit with their cover of "Solsbury Hill" last year.
Pet Shop Boys suffers from the same dilemma: they constantly release new CDs but they never get radio airplay.

Joe C. (a.k.a. Yosef, Paris, Josie)- "Hey Dawn, I'm going to be at Great America this weekend. Do you want to meet us?"
Dawn- "Uhh, I still live in North Carolina... since the last time you asked me to go to Great America and every time you forget to invite me to Carowinds. Thanks."
Joe C.- "Oh yea..."
He hates you. ;)

I thought Erasure was still together. They released a cd recently called "love Boat" and did an album of covers called "other peoples songs" a couple years ago
Speaking of related synth-pop, Depeche Mode just released both a 3-disc and a single-disc of remixes including a new version of "enjoy the silence"
Oleta probally won't be touring with TFF, but Im hoping they have some sort of female background singers. The one used on their new album sounds a whole lot like her
I only had the chance to see DD in 1993 during their "Wedding Album" tour and I thought it was awful. They changed around some of their songs to the point that they were unrecognizable and it just wasn't the same as seeing the original 5. If they come to Cleveland next year, I am SO there.
And rentzy, TFF sang classics like "Shout", "Everybody Wants To Rule The World", "Head Over Heels", "The Seeds Of Love", "Woman In Chains" (one of their best), and others. You'd know the songs if you heard them.
