Six Flags Worlds of Adventure has been granted a height variance to build a 210-foot coaster in the Bainbridge Township side of the park. As a condition of the approval, the park agreed not to build in residential and forested areas, and agreed not to seek annexation to the City of Aurora.

It's still the Morgan hyper. If you check on the Aurora Zoning Department and the City Board Records, you'll see that they still have it on the table. Morgan and Six Flags have had to alter their design many times before we finally got this approval, but yes it is still the Morgan hyper, and I'm really excited.Well, I had lunch with the VP of US sales at Chance Morgan and he mentioned that SF wanted to moved SFM's hyper to another park in the US. He did mention something about it being in the midwest.. I would definitely consider SFWOA a possibility considering the height of SFMs hyper was.... dum dum dum.... 210 FEET
If you checked the the news lately, you would know that construction of Escape de Superman at Six Flags Mexico is back underway and the construction has restarted. Now if Six Flags has the parts at Six Flags Mexico and has started construction, then why would they want to move it? Are they putting a they putting hyper coasters on an exchange system now?

Something doesn't seem right here? I hope the paper is wrong. I just don't see them building it like that with all that area being quiet and relaxing, and the stadiums all right there? If that layout is true, this is has to be a one of a kind ride! Time will tell.

Where is the news about the SFM hyper??? I havent seen it. Personally, I would think that the VP of North American sales would know more about where there products are going that your average person that reports most "news" on these sites. Did you ever stop to think that maybe SFM got the hyper shuffled to them after the Aurora neighbors pitched a fit?? I think that is what happened and SFM didnt have much time to get all the proper permits in time and that caused the problems they had.... Who knows...

There are two Morgan hypers, ok!!! Morgan said they had two coasters for 2002 at the IAAPA Trade Show. Try learning a little espanol, that's how you get the news from a Spanish speaking country. Sure, Coasterbuzz does a good job reporting, and they pick up most of, but not everything will make it to this site hot of the press and not all news and reports will be put up. The project was started without proper site development and approval. They did get the permit, but no inspection of the site was done. That's why the project delayed.
Also, both of these coasters were having approval problems at the exact same time. The District was reviewing the case down in SFM, while at the same time, the SFWoA was persue their mission of getting the giant coaster past the City Board and people of Aurora. Now, why would they battle in two seperate countries, to build the same coaster, while a multimillion dollar investment is at stake;)?!!;)
Seeing that the two trains on display for the two coasters were the same, I'm going take a shot at this and say that SFWoA's Morgan hyper is a Superman too.

A long while ago they announced that the proposed hyper was an Intamin...so expect an Intamin. Also SF just bought the SFH air-time machine...so I would expect it to be from them. Hopefully a 210ft. clone!
GO SFWoA!:)

Would any animal attractions have to be removed? Is there any chance they might someday still make the coaster that would replace the bird show and cross the street into the parking lot? That'd be a sweet location!
In the Plain Dealer article it says the ride will be designed for the park. Looking at the location and course in the articles diagram it will have to be an original layout and not a clone.
After riding Nitro last year I wanted a B&M hyper at this park. But after looking at all the pics of Expediton G-Force and Goliath @ SFH its hard to decide what I want more! :)
I think if the park wants to beat MF it will be Intamin, nothing else! The only thing that could beat Intamin is Intamin. Remember it doesnt have to beat MF in height to beat it in sure fun.
