I don't believe Six Flags is willing to spend the money to get a B&M Dive Machine. I'm thinking it's not going to happen, and a Euro-Fighter or something less expensive is more in the range they are going to put in. A 16 million ride is too expensive for them now under Shapiro.
The Kontiki, and S&S ride are no longer available either. The Round-Up is in the process of being sold, I'm guessing.

"Nevermind".... ;)
Interesting that SWAT has also sold....love that ride, even if the cycle could use a little something extra...

What amazes me is when I point out a great deal Great America is offering for 2008, and say it's a step in the right direction Chitown shakes his head. Where's the love, join me at the park next year and will go over both positives and negatives. My truth from your fiction and end the name calling. Come/see/learn/understand/most things actually are good/However amazing landscaping in 2007 was posted and received the biggest laugh of the year. We will show you the truth and the truth will set you free. Remember it's November and the parks operating at it's best CLOSED!Happy Holidays even to the haters. Peace on earth good will towards man.
When you get your head out of your ass, let me know. What have you been pointing out in great deal that SFGAm is offering in 2008? You also need to quit the religious type statements when it comes to this subject. This isn't church or any other sacred ground. It's actually an insult.
If you think Burke was a better CEO then Shapiro, explain why he is gone and his "plop a bunch of multi-million dollar coasters in parks every year" method didn't work.
You aren't a just a coaster tool, you are the toolbox.
My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.

But SFMM's wasn't listed for sale. There were 2 listed for sale (SFGAm & SFOG), and now there's only one available.
Nobody said SFMM's Deja Vu was for sale, which it wasn't anyway, just to set the record straight...again.
As for the impri site now only listing one unit for sale, we can all naturally and safely assume that one of them is going through a sale pending. Whether it was the SFoG or SFGAm unit that was sold really should be of no significance. ;)
At some point in time--big budget or not--you're just plain gonna run out of 'big projects that (purportedly) bring in the crowds' to throw at it. Honestly.
Besides the waterpark, which apparently brings in more people than it can handle almost every day. Would you cheer if they built another wavepool and three dozen slides? Actual 'crowds' be damned, I'm thinking no.
And how many kids do you have and what are their ages? When mine were tiny, they picked SF's offerings above CF's each and every time.
So what are your 'ideas' and how would they work? A $25 million project that CP can only afford because they're filling resort hotels, too? A $15 million project unlike one they already have? The GP's been doing B&Ms longer than anyone else in America. Nothing new there. And another hundred or so foot-tall woodie? Oh, please. They have two of those already. It wouldn't do much.
I'm waiting with bated breath for more run-on sentences!
Okay, fine. I'm lying. But we all know they're on the way...

Why do people who work for him have a whole different view this year from last? Could it be the upcoming Full-Time staff reductions?
Uhm, I seriously doubt that you know enough people on a personal enough basis that work at one of the Six Flags parks to make a blanket statement about their feelings about Shapiro as a CEO. Remember -- the ones who are ride operators don't exactly matter. The ones who work the whole year do.
Oh, and since I actually do have a couple friends at one of the parks, your statement about the "upcoming" full-time staff reductions is most obviously wrong.
I guess there really isn't a need to point out the problems with your posts any further, as I'm sure you'll think that (and Chitown's) responses are "blind to the reality of the situation" or whatever, but if you aren't willing to listen to reasonable opinions from other people, I'd suggest giving up or taking the time to formulate a really thought through response. You're not convincing anyone on here about anything that you have said.
