Chris, that bites....Boss is/was on the "short list"....hope it gets SOME love over the off-season....G-trains may not be my personal fav either, but from the sound of it, there's more than bad trains at SFStL....
bill, saying how about spending the cap-ex money on maintenance and upgrades to EXISTING attractions......then spend whatever's left on more personnel for those "under-utilized, all-important upcharge attractions"....they seem to never have enough staff...;)

If you're not watching "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart", you're just watching the news....
Trust me, the G trains make the HUGE difference in the ride. I rode the boss on media day with the Eagle PTC train and it rode pretty damn good. I came back a month later and was beaten to a pulp by a thing called Gerstlaur. I honestly think that Gerstlaur means "back surgery" in German!!!!!
CCI was smoking some major crack when they chose to recommend the G trains over the PTC ones.I definitely think there was some money passed under the table on that one. Even when SF wanted to trade them in, CCI wouldnt do it. Hence, SF blacklisting CCI early 2000.

I hear a train a comin'
Comin' round the bend :P

With the shape it's in now, I doubt even PTC's would help. It ran pretty smooth at the beginning of this season, It's just kept getting worse and worse as the season goes on...
I've often thought that permanently swapping trains between the Boss and the Eagle would be a good idea. The G- trains don't do TOO bad on an out-and-back, they REALLY suck on a twister...
