But then again, what do I know?
I think the following SF parks will get a Tornado in 2005 - SFDL, SFA, SFKK, SFSL and SFEG (I believe 4 are for sure, SFEG is the question mark to me).
Official hints:
SFA
SFKK
Edit: List of Nov. 2004, not 2005 Tornadoes

I'm guessing that if this Tornado for SFDL is true, than SFKK is going to get the same thing as well. While SFA's hint is considerably different, "TROPICAL FUN WARNING! Hurricane Forecast for 2005! Next year will be BETTER and WETTER than Ever!", I would have to agree that a ProSlide Tornado is probably also in the works for SFA as at least a part of their 2005 additions...than again, the Hurricane Harbor park they're building at SFGAm will not have a ProSlide Tornado so, you never know...
But the real winner...ProSlide of course... between this year and last year SFI has provided some SERIOUS buisness to them!
If you can't stand the heights, get out of the line.
Oh well, look on the bright side, we can still complain because it isn't their deserved new coaster or flat;).
I'm glad these things are going up. More waterpark stuff=more $$ for future larger announcemnets.

Actually this blows. They couldn't have wasted any more money. It's not going to attract anyone I mean all the small parks have added coasters within the past year.
I'm not going back, this is ridiculous, I can't believe that this is IT.
Couldn't they just save the money and put in a drop tower or at LEAST a collection of water slides?
Please note we haven't gotten a non water ride since 2000.
Oh well I might as well spend the money at CP. Their attraction isn't a coaster but it looks like a hell of alot of fun.

Boo fricken hoo!Stop by The Great Escape (my homepark) sometime and then you'll be b*tchin. ;)
I actuall love my home park though so I take that back.
Yea you should take that back. I like Great Escape MUCH better than SFDL.
Comet is absolutely amazing! No wait, 2 train oepration! It just doesn't get any better than that.
I loved Great Escape this past summer, and theres more trees too, and they have a nice water park.

Tell that to Holiday World! They had record attendance the year they added a Tornado funnel. The park also hasn't added a coaster since 2000.
Oops, sorry to throw in some logic.

(well, isn't that what usually happens after a company sells a bunch of product to Six Flags?)

What's your point? All they added this year to the park was a waterslide and a small play area and, once again, had a fantastic year. Honestly, please take some business classes because your posts make you look awfully foolish. I can't think of anything that SFDL could add that would be more beneficial.
-Nate
...they said that their attendance suffered quite a bit this year... although, typical Six Flags, they blamed weather among other factors.
...but in all honesty, the park's attendance is sagging year after year, and that's because there is NO NEW ATTRACTIONS.
A proslide Tornado isn't going to spike attendance. There's no real waterpark as is... one little slide isn't going to spike the attendance or even draw in new people.
Nearby Marty's Fantasy Island is adding in a new coaster. Same market competitor Canada's Wonderland is adding yet ANOTHER coaster... this time the monster Italian Job. Seabreeze added Whirlwind last year as well as Waldameer which added Steel Dragon.
Oh, did I forget to mention that Marineland, Canada added S&S's SkyScreamer among other stuff during its 160 million mega expansion.
The ONLY park in this whole area that isn't bothering to really put an investment forward is Six Flags Darien Lake... and this is a a corporate park who has the funds to spend.
You tell me where it makes sense that all the other surrounding parks are adding new MAJOR attractions while SFDL sits on its ass adding a Tornado which was Six Flags way of saying "ok, lets see what parks havent recieved anything in awhile... hmmmm... Kentucky Kingdom? TORNADO! SFA? TORNADO! Darien Lake? TORNADO".
They musta bought a bulk set of tornados 'cause they were on sale at Sams Club... and found a few parks to give them to...
...believe me... this isn't from a coaster enthusiast's point of view... I've mentioned this to many others who are casual visitors, some who haven't been to the park in years, and they say "that's it?" or "meh, the parks the same old thing every year. nothing new"... this coming from people of all ages from teen to 50 somethings...
...a proslide Tornado is a waterslide, something only done for those who like the waterpark & want to get wet, only done on warmer days... not exactly something that's going to spike attendance... it just will look purdy at the park, that's about all.
DL could be a cool park. There just isnt enough there to get me to go back. Predator, once a great coaster is in ruins, Viper is an arrow headbanger and the other coasters are clones. Lots of potential with its campground.
