SFA 2006??

The best attraction for 2006 would be improving customer service. It's became a real nightmare now, close to SFMM. Ugh!!!!

I don't know ALL the Facts!!!!!!
Sounds like end of summer staffing issues have begun to crop up. If the pattern holds true, things will improve for Frightfest.

A day at the park is what you make it!

^ True, but to bad SFA's Fright Fest sucks anyways.

With Wild One's 20th anniversary coming in 06 could it be possible that they're gonna do something along the lines of what they did in 02 to mark the occasion?

Actually FF wasn't that bad last year....here's to hoping they reopen the shortcut to WO from GC again.

Maybe they could restore the triple down in the turn around? THAT would be nice!

Eh...Compared to other parks I've been to, SFA's FF isn't great. I wish they had the scary people out in the open, so you don't have to wait in line for the haunted house's. Kinda like SFGAm's FF.

^SFA did have scary people out in the open last year when I went, but I have to hand it to you on SFGAm's FF. Never been but I saw pictures and it's insane. Blood in the reflecting pool in front of the Columbia Carosel is krazy. Not to even mention the roarin rapids ride open and filled with blood. I need to visit my 2ndary home park more often.

The only difference between SFA and SFGAm's FF is that Great America puts more effort into it.

SFGAm renames most of their rides for FF.

Iron Wolf - Iron Wolverine

Giant Drop - Hellevator

SFA is getting better though over the years. Also they need to limit the capacity, because there is no room to walk most of the time. I heard a few people say that SFA FF is better then SFGAdv though. *** Edited 8/4/2005 5:18:04 PM UTC by SF Critic***

They've already started working on Wild One. They added signage around the queue talking about it's history and the history of other great coasters at SF parks (still trying to figure out what they were thinking with the Rattler), signs above the coaster track in the station showing how to board the train and reworked the queue in the station. I don't think we will see a paint job but it would be nice.

I agree Moosh, I rode Wild One one time in it's Wild World days. If only I could take back the 15 years I was to afraid to ride coasters.

Its the tallest woodie in the SF chain and was a world record holder when it opened. Regardless of the ride experience its a noteworthy coaster.

I'm going tomorrow so I'll have to take a look at the new additions over at Wild One.

I'd give anything to have the original turnaround restored but from what I heard the reprofiling was done to save on wear & tear to both the track & trains so I guess we'll never see that fabulous turnaround ever again & I hate, loathe, despise the new queuing system in use for that ride.

Hopefully I'll be able to improve my night ride average on Supes tomorrow.....night rides (especially up front) have been hard to come by so far this season mainly cuz the ride has always been too crowded or is down by that time of the day.

They claim the new turnaround made the Wild One much faster (specifics can be found at the ride), and that's cool with me.
True, how true because when you hit the double down to begin the return leg of the course the ride just seems to pick up incredible speed....not to mention airtime especially in the hill going through the superstructure of the lift.

I was gonna go today but my friend got sick so we all decided to push the trip up to next week,I can still recall that he wasn't feeling so hot when wewent to PKD last month either.
