I am almost positive that the supports in the parking lot are not for a permanent Slingshot. The supports in the parking lot are round, so Slingshot parts are probably not here yet.
I am not saying that we are not getting a permanent Slingshot. Because I also know that the Slingshot here is a temporary one(a little surprised it is still erected). I think it would be smart to place a permanent Slingshot in either the Great Escape spot or if in Old Chicago then it should be built where the closed Stockyard restaurant is.
Is the Great Escape arcade really gone?

Stock yards (until it falls down or there is some compensation for the company that currently uses it) isnt going any were soon. The building its self is in pretty good shape. It also houses a large freezer and fridge witch is used by Observ and occasionally sixflags and Worlds Fair venders. Also squishy is manufactored in there and kept in the large freezer. And besides it would take a lot of effort to shape the land to were you could install a sling shot or any flat on that site.
Also recently I have noticed an increase in the number of people that are interested in SFSTL. Which is very good news, because the more people the better chance someone will guess correctly about the new ride.

Edit: Ok so I might have streched the truth a little. Observ probly would just get kicked out of the building if SF wanted to tear down the building.

Just a guess here but could the supports in the parking lot be for the permanent sling shot... If you check out S & S the sling shot has 3 round supports... The cages might be for a retrofit or a new ride....
As SFSL is my home park it is pretty cool to be able to sit and think about what might be coming. I hope I am wrong about the supports The Swatter looks like it would be one hell of a ride...
Yeah, that Sky Swatter looks really great, but why do you think we will get one? I mean, I'm not at all saying that we won't, I was just wondering what sort of clues you have as to getting the Sky Swatter. ("you" referring to everyone) haha Anyways, keep us updated!

Oh, also, the old Stockyard BBQ building looks pretty bad. I mean, no offense, but maybe they could put some sort of facade in front of it or something. Speaking of that building, what ever happened to the "Mrs. O'Leary's Whistle Stop Cafe"? I think there was a sign in front of that building that said that. But I don't ever remember it being open as that. Was it just a phony sign? Just wondering...

I was thinking....a B&M coaster like Georgia Scorcher would fit nicely along the side of the park, next to the Mine Train or Hurrican Harbor, don't ya think? And I doubt that it would be as expensive as larger rides...hmm...;-) Or maybe something like Batman Knight Flight in the spot where Ninja is? (I still really like Ninja, but I would be ok with them taking it out if they put something like that in it's place) hmm....Why don't the CEO's of SFSTL ask US these things? lol! And PLEASE add more flat rides! I LOVE flat rides! And preferably new flat rides...like a frisbee, chaos, breakdance, etc. (Well, a breakdance that would allow single riders)

I think what I would like to see SFSL do is spend some money upgrading the rides that they have.. Such as getting the right cars for the Boss. Restore the Eagle.. and in General paint for everything...
SFSL needs to get some more Flats... Look how popular Scooby Doo was last year. How many times did you go to the park and have to wait in line for the rides like the Sizzler, Jokers revenge, or Tidal Wave... If you think about it SFSL just does not have the Flats... Last couple of years we have lost the Momo Monster and the Hannibarrells.. What have we added except Scooby.. I would like for them to add at least 1 or 2 flat rides..
Overall SFSL is a park that has a lot of potential. And if we can't get a Coaster to rock our socks off then lets get some rides like the Fly Swatter or such in here..
Sooner or later with all the land that SFSL has around that park this will be one of the larger and best parks..
I'm only hypothisizing here, but it's been mentioned a couple of times that several Zipper-like cages have been spotted, and the description "Scrambler on-a-stick" seems to fit...
Drumroll please...
Could this be the infamous and problematic SFGAdv "Evolution?"
Hmm...

Reagarding the post about Refurbishing existing rides, I would love to see the Screamin' Eagle get it 100,000 (maybe 200,000) mile checkup. It's funny, I have heard from several people saying SFStL management is so proud of the Eagle and the way it identifies the park's skyline - but they insist to let it rot away. It really ticks me off honestly. I wish they'd get CCI (whatever they are called now) or CGI to come in and give SE a once/twice over and bring it back from it's current hoo-hum self. They got a lot of room back there - it would be nice to see a Helix added and maybe a few other design changes. Yes - A simple paint job would be a good start too.
