SF St. Louis - Anything going on??

It's the Big Blue Pole Ride!!!! A new Arrow / S&S Prototype. We should feel lucky to have one...

Might this be the "permanent" slingshot that was rumored?
I think there are a bit too many ride vehicles for that...bossstl?
It cant be the slingshot, it is still erected on site.
Is it saturday yet. And my guess is, is that these things are parts to a new trash can. Not any regular trash can but a world record breaking trash can.

Come on, bossstl, you can't expect a Six Flags park to break a record like that! :-D

It's most definitely not a Zipper. The Chance Zipper is easily the ugliest flat ride in existence, and SF would never dream of installing such a carnival-only ride. I'm not claiming that I do know what's going to SFStL, just that it is most certainly NOT a Zipper,

Could these poles be for the next generation of S&S absolutely insanes? S&S said at IAAPA that they had sold some, several actually.

I'm starting to believe this MAY be the initial installation of a Sky Swatter....I'm just thinking about all the S&S business at IAAPA, the rather *insubstantial* clues, etc. I just *know* there's too many people who know what's going in here...my guesses have been getting better and better for the past couple installs...;)
There is less intelligence in this thread than you may hope to believe.

Thats true those 13 year olds really can be "stupied" (in ways other than spelling) sometimes. Any ways I say they supports could before a ride like that but, heres the thing the seats that are on site APPEAR to be in some type of cage/ride veichle (no there not first gen. free fall cars)

Does anyone know where i can get pictures of a sky swatter, and is there any new pics from the park? Also, could the "cages" in the parking lot be for the highland fling, maybe a retrofit, last time i rode that ride, the ride vehicles where in pretty bad shape.

For pictures of a sky swatter go here http://www.screamscape.com/html/s_s_power.html.

As far as any new pictures I doubt there is any because everything is the same (minus a crane) from last week and the week before.

I figured it would be the same, but the one pic i saw didnt show to much, so i was wondering if there were just more, showing everything, and thanks for the links

There really isn't that much to see. There are a couple of rows of light blue supports lined up in front of Hurricane Harbor and then some type of ride cars lined up in front of the supports.

Screamscape and Amusement Business say that SF has bought La Ronde 8 Zamperla flat rides. I am starting to think that this could be some type of a Zamperla flat, either a family or kiddie ride(something the park needs badly). SF likes to buy "packages" of rides and SFSL could get a ride from the large Zamperla package. I don't know anything about what kind of ride this is.

Someone did buy the first Sky Swatter at the IAAPA expo, but I don't think it was a Six Flags Park ;)

I thought it was a park on the WEST coast, but I could be wrong. ;)

Did you two happen to have grapefruit juice and/or pulp squirted into your left eye? It seems to me that you have terrible cases of blepharospasm.

Now on to more important things...who has the latest guess on what this mystery ride may be?
