Hate to disappoint you SFZIP but the Condom er Condor was on the same footer pad as the Sky Chuter . Before Ninja that area was taken up with the sencond track for the mine train.
As far as McD's is concerned as someone else said they close every year for freight fest. Before McD's was there it was a sit down chicken place. Not to bad chicken either. Then they moved to the smaller building up the hill.

Actually, SFZIP is correct. The Condor sat right about where the queue house for Ninja currently sits, and the Mine Train that was sold to Dollywood sat there for that season, minus several feet of track. It was hilarious as there was a small drop after the second lift and the track just ended mid drop. The "Aero Flyer" (now "Riverview Racer") Chance Yo-Yo was put on the spot formerly occupied by the "Sky Chuter."

Correct - the sky chuter was over by the highland fling in the late 70's / early 80's. It was a popular ride, I rode it alot. The Condor was where the ninja is now.
Regarding the Boss' queue - it is really the only solution. The coaster is so isolated from all the walkways plus guarded by the go-karts, a bridge-type queue has to be built. It's unique... doesn't bother me.
Finally - looks like we are getting 'el zippo' next year. I guess we can cross our fingers and hope to get Shockwave.

Just to clear up a few history things.
The Sky Chuter was built in 1978 and I believe was removed in 1982, it has operated at Six Flags Great Adventure since 1983. Then I think the Aero Flyer(now Riverview Racer) replaced the Sky Chuter in 1983. This is the area where Dragon's Wing now is.
The last year the removed track of the Mine Train ran was in 1987, parts were removed in 1988, but the whole thing was not removed until the end of 1988. The Space Scramble(Scrambler), now Shazam! sat behind Wok & Roll from 1972 until 1987, when it was moved to it's current location for 1988. Then the Condor was added in 1988, for one season only, then Ninja really replaced the Condor and the removed Mine Train track.
Could somebody tell me the actual location of the Sky Chuter in the park. The reason I thought that the Aero Flyer replaced it is because of the Sky Chuter location on the 1978 map. I know the Aero Flyer was located just behind the Highland Fling. The only way the Sky Chuter could also be there is if it was located where the water holding area(spare boats stored) for Thunder River is now and this is why it was removed whenever Thunder River was built. They all three could have been there, but I was too little to remember if they were or not.
If anybody knows anything about when the Aero Flyer was added to the park let me know and the only other ride I don't know when it was exactly built is the Rush Street Flyer(in 1987 I think), somebody know? Thanks.

Do you have anything to back up those claims that SFStL was going to get ANY of that? That's what I thought. The park never filed a building permit for any of those coasters that you mentioned. Until they file with Eureka/Allenton than they are nothing but speculation and rumors.

Hey eagleguy sorry i didnt respond to any of your messages, I just got home (1200 PM). As to your message I went by there to day to look at he tall structure towards the back of the park, that you told me about yesterday. Which turned out to be a "silo" for the hayride. Well any ways I did not spot any thing in the parking lot. What color were the supports if you could tell. And are you SURE there supports. And did you notice that you can now see much much much more of the grave yard then you could this summer from the highway.

I can now back up EagleGuy. There is indeed looks to be a rented crane for loading and unloading material, 3 verylong and very thick what appear to be "supports" wrapped in somethign blue. There is also shipping containor that is also painted blue. Now the question is what SF parks recently took out a flat. It for sure is not a coaster its a flat of some sort. If those blue things are indeed supports. At this point yes it seems late but a flat takes little time (2 months) to erect. Besides it probly came from another park and they have been waiting for it.

Nothing says that the ride was removed recently. For all we know, and we don't know much because details as very sketchy (not to mention limited) this could (or could not) be a ride from the Old Indiana site - which they have been clearing out as of late (didn't they sale that?).

Whenever I drove by the park on 44 about a week ago, I saw nothing different at all. The Slingshot was still erected, I thought it was only a temporary ride, but it was still there. I guess things can change in a week, but I don't think that it is anything major.
Hey all!
Hey what don't one of you nice people who go by SFSTL a lot take a picture of the supports for the rest of us? :-D Please! lol I live in the St. Louis area, but about an hour away from SFSTL. So if one of you could do that....;-)
