P.S. The lines would still be out the door. Who does not like a dark coaster?

Avalanche has been removed from the PKD site too!WTF is this?!
Looks like they got their hands on some of the same stuff SF executives have been smoking :)

If Paramount removes this coaster, it will rank right up there with the stupidest idea ever conceived and willn't be to far behind, if not tie, the SF No Reentry Policy
You aren't forgetting about what Paramount did to Stealth right? It can happen, but my biggest guess would be a retheming.

Remember, this is the same company that jerked the Flying Scooter out of Kings Island last year and replaced it with GRASS.You mean shipping containers. :(
No, I mean grass. The shipping containers (and the really-quite-decent coaster behind them) is sitting on the land previously occupied by not one, but two antique car rides. The land previouosly occupied by the Flying Scooter, the absolute best ride in that park, is now occupied by nothing more interesting than grass. Well, they did have a cornhole game set up there during the halloween weekends, I guess...

I have't forgot about what Paramount did with Stealth. However, aren the circumstances for removing the Stealth and moving it to another park the same as PKD removing FOF? Probably not. FOF is still a popular and one of the better attractions at PKD. A retheme is needed, I'll agree. Removing it would just be a plain old bad decision.
For a park like PGA that hadn't received a major new coaster in years (and still hasn't!), Stealth was a HUGE hit with the GP. Easily the most popular coaster in the park in it's time, being a local I always heard everyone talking and raving about it, yet it was removed after only 3 seasons anyways. And that was after they had already removed another major coaster the year before. I'm aware of their lame excuses for doing so, none of which made any sense except to cut corners. Paramount's been ripping rides out of PGA for years now, looks like the rest of the chain may possibly be getting the same treatment of bad decisions that we've been experiencing for over a decade now.
Does Paramount ever release the results of the surveys?
Yes and no-Paramount keeps & stores the popular concepts for later use sometimes they redesign the concept so it will fit in certain space of land & so it can be ridden by most of the family.
If you need to know the whole process read this

Of course, maybe it's going somewhere else, just for the sake of diversification of assets or something.

Seems to me that there has been a business premise for every ride relocation to me.

I agree with Rideman- Paramount seems to be the new king of mindless decisions.
