I personally would have perferred a mirror of Nitro, but then we already have Goliath. And yes, the colors are wonderful.

This ride reeks of a last minute decision to add a quality ride at low cost, in the quickest way possible.
Now I'm not all that familiar with the inner workings of the industry, but I'm pretty sure that multi-million dollar "last minute decisions" don't happen.

In the world of Six Flags, yes it does. Thought you knew...

This would ruin the point of putting in a clone. A clone saves time and money not having to draw up plans, etc. If they used a different layout and order of elements, it would be it's own unique coaster.

So THAT'S why we were able to pick up stock in PKS for 3.50/share. I just *knew* there had to be a reason...;). Seriously though, the decisions SFI has made in the past 6 months or so speak VOLUMES...I suspect this recent fiscal restraint can only help them in the long run...

Who cares if it's a clone? It's still a brand-spankin'-new B&M coaster for 2003. It's a crowd-pleaser, and that's exactly what SFMM needs after their patrons wait in a 4 hour long line for X. A TON of parks in the country or the world for that matter would love to have a brand-new B&M coaster, regardless of it's layout. Plus, it still helps the count! :)

Park guests don't skip ferris wheels, tilt-o-whirls, log rides, or other rides that have clones in just about every single park...*why* would any of us think they'd treat coasters any differently.
Why do people see movies they enjoyed more than once or even buy the DVD? Because they enjoyed it enough the first time and know they'll get enjoyment from it on further viewings. So if someone enjoyed their ride on Medusa East and came to SFMM they'd complain that "this is just like the one back home" and skip it?
Get real, people!
The only people who complain about clones are *enthusiasses.*
