Roller Coaster Tycoon 2, the sequel to one of the biggest selling PC games ever, has started to appear on store shelves in the Greater Cleveland area a week before its scheduled release. Target stores appear to have a few copies, and EB stores say they expect it this week.

I visited the Target Super Center in Lauderhill Fla. The boxes were in the back room and they refussed to let me purchase a copy. I then went to Target Greatland at Sawgrass Mills Mall and they had 2 copies sitting on the shelf. I then went to Walmart a block away and the manager refussed to sell me a copy. He said he could get in big trouble for this and I said screw you! Here are some observations.
1-Graphics are greatly improved.
2-System responds faster to mouse clicks.
3-Managment change. You have to click on $ lower left corner in order to come up with budget sheet.
4-Landscaping tools are fantastic.
All the way arround this game is well worth the $22.88 that I paid and I have 1 suggestion, how about a Waterpark Tycoon that is an expansion pack to this program.

I just wanted to let you all know that i preordered rollercoastertycoon 2 and just recieved it a day ago.Its a pretty cool game and really live it... How i look at it, i think preordering is the way to go if you really want something before it comes out.
As for as these stores getting them early and putting them on the shelves, and then not being able to buy the game until it officially comes out, what is the sense to that? how i look at it is,if it is on the shelves then it should be able to be purchased.
