You're probably right, Vater, but we need more cool people to share in your amazingness.

Everything the park has as far as family rides is pretty old and the number keeps dropping. In the past couple of years, we've now lost White Water Landing, Wildcat, Paddlewheel Excursions, the Space Spiral, and Disaster Transport. When is the last time a truly family ride was added? I guess Shoot the Rapids might count, but it's wet enough we've never been on it.

Cedar Point still has a huge amount of family rides, including two Junior roller coasters that you can ride with your family. As for the rides being old, if I am not mistaken, Camp Snoopy and another kids area isn't very old. There have also been remodels to the children's area in the front of the park. I could rattle off the names of the other family rides in the park, but I would have to refer to the park map to do so. But, Cedar Downs comes to mind, the monster, Hymalaya, and the flying bobs. Might not be new, but they are certainly family friendly.

Cedar Point has more rides for kids than any other park I have been to. Just because they are not roller coasters doesn't mean they aren't fun. You could even add the mine ride to the list.

Cedar Point will always be The Roller Coaster Capital of the World, regardless of the number of coasters they have.

I dunno, I'm skeptical. That doesn't look like Sandusky dirt to me.

That's because they don't have dirt there. Only sand. ;-)

I love the Vekomas and Manta. The S:UF's I could do without. (Still no Tatsu).

Whether or not it's a great ride, it's still incredibly flashy and given that CP invested in a stand up and an impulse, I would think a flyer would have done pretty well.

Apollo, you gotta hit Magic Mountain and ride Tatsu. If nothing else just for the views you get from being that high above the rest of the park. Manta was awesome, but as you know its a bit confined to a certain area. Tatsu stretches over a good swath of the park.

Are you MAN ENOUGH to ride this ride ?
