I'm more of a "Dingo and the Baby" man, myself.
I actually thought of starting a thread on this in the past to see what others do as far as ranking things they haven't ridden in a while.
I also have Villain fairly high on my list because I rode it a ton when it was new, and probably only once in the latter years; along the same lines, there are coasters that I know I've been on that I just can't remember, so I don't even put them on my TR. Technically, I should probably have 5 or 10 more rides on there, but if I have no recollection of them I figure what's the use in counting it.

Yeah They no Funny! :)
I wonder if that's as funny to people who have not worked in radio.

I've never worked in radio, but I listened to a lot of Brian & Joe back in the day. :) On Mix-Mi-mimi-mmmmMIX 106.5.
I've never worked in radio, and I find that link to be hilarious. I make fun of radio jingles all of the time.
...Unless, I didn't really "get it". :)

I never worked in radio....did watch WKRP a lot. ;)
I loved Dingo and the Baby. I would imagine having worked in radio would make it funnier on more levels/in different ways, but that kind of schtick has mass appeal. People really "go" for it....for whatever reason.Reminds me somewhat of Lois screaming "Nine-Eleven" at the political debate/rally. Or Stewie really selling those Calvin Klein diapers. Going after the lowest common denominator for fun and profit seems to be one of the things Family Guy does a goood job satirizing. "Where have you gone, P.T. Barnum?" ;)
Oh, so back to Villain....weird ride. I really "got it" when it was new....through the last season, it had become progressively rougher so that it was virtually unrideable anywhere but the very front. I didn't "get it" any more... :-/

The Dingo & The Baby bits make fun of countless things in commercial radio that may not entirely be obvious, though the bigger picture themes around catering to various demographics and such are pretty easy to get.

I tend to rank coasters based on my most recent visit, with consideration given to past performance.
Revolution pre-horse collars was an amazing ride; now it would rank closer to the bottom. So overall, it ranks closer to the lower middle, given my belief that it will never, ever return to it's glory days, but acknowledging it's not complete junk.
What is more problematic is a coaster that gives different experiences from the front to back on the same visit. Such was the case with Big Dipper on my one and only visit to SFWoA. Rode in the back and it was painful. Very, very painful and unpleasant. Almost didn't re-ride it, but as I am a big fan of John Miller, I thought I'd see if might be any better in the front. It was, and shockingly so. The front felt smooth to me and I got what I felt was a fantastic ride. So, how do I rank it, based on my two rides? What to do, what to do...
They Live. We Sleep.
Millennium Force:
After the 1st hill the ride is nothing but fast turns-big whoop. I found Goliath at SFMM better than MF-I guess maybe I need more substance to my rides. I refuse to ride it if I have to wait longer than 15 minutes.
The good thing about MF is people waiting on that line make the wait for the other rides shorter.
TTD:
2 hour wait for a 17 second ride. Thanks but no thanks. I went the whole season last year not riding it once, havent touched it this season yet either. Xcelerator was way better to me, again, substance.
As for all the Raptor bashing, there are plenty of inverted coasters out there way better than Raptor, but its still my baby! :)

I have noticed a big trend among my "gp" (yeah, yeah) friends to put their first hyper on a pedestal, regardless of the quality of the ride. I've taken a number of friends on various coaster trips and took them on things like Raging Bull (post-trim), Nitro, S:RoS SFA, and AC and every time when we'd go to SFNE at the end of the season they'd say, "S:RoS sucks compared to <whatever their first hyper was>."
Heck, I went to SFoT with an Ohio transplant the other day who tried to convince me that Vortex at KI was at least twice as tall as Titan.
Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
The 90* turns don't do anymore for me than what GCI does, but I really like the reverse banking.
I guess the biggest ride that I didn't get at all is the Coney Island Cyclone. I mean, why is it ranked so high, because of its age or designer? I rode it twice last year in the front and back of the train. Sure, there is some descent air time, but that about it. I just don't get the fasination with it. I guess to each there own.
I didn't like Cyclone. I guess I'll try again next year.
It's been said but Magnum. Don't get it at all, never ride it when I'm at the point. Miserably designed ride all around. Rampy, painful, terrible cars, just awful. Like an overgrown minetrain without any of the attraction.

I liked the Cyclone some, but I didn't get on it until my late 20's or so..maybe even early 30's, when I had already been on many bigger, faster, etc. I just felt like it was an anti-climax at that point in my life.

Well, I got on last summer (I was 28), and it wasn't an anti-climax or anything like that. Heck, I LOVED Viper @ GAm. I didn't like Psyclone at SFMM, but, then, no one did. I keep being told I got a bad ride, and AVMatt made me ride in the back, so it was more about it being painful than anything. I really came off in a lot of pain, and hadn't ever been that beat up by a coaster.
It ranks rather low for me (But not my least favorite coaster, mind you).
BSpeed26, that's why I LIKE Magnum! It's one of my favorite coasters because it's a challenge to ride.

^^Clint, it was running *great* this past weekend. Only insane-o people ;) should ride in the back seat though....it's stupid-aggressive back there with the 4-bench trains. The front-seat ride was pretty spectacular as well with abundant forceful airtime, only far less "painful".
