If the park were to keep the name X-Flight, do you think some of the GP might get it confused with FOF?

The GP doesn't give a damn about names anyway. They know what a coaster looks like and that's all that matters to them.

I'm all about finding out who the identity of DEEP THROAT is. . .and what he knows, and exactly when does he know it.

This will be fun. . .

Note the use of his spelling of the word "colour." This is endemic to a kind of European spelling, notably British.

Perhaps our covert op is of Continental descent?

There is also a rumor that there may be an ice show added this year as well.

I would think that if a ice show was added, the fest hall would be the best place for it.

So are the two modified MF trains (as per the GCI intern site) for Wildcat then?

Crazy rumor is that SOB's new trains are Gerstlauer Gen 2 woodie trains guaged to SOB.

Please don't tell me that Cedar Fair will be placing Gerstlauer trains on SOB? They are the most uncomfortable trains I have been on.... If this is true, it does not bode well for the new SOB. I really hope that rumor is not true!

Coasterkid, It's one thing to say something in wishful thinking once or twice. We all do it every now and again.

It's another to start multiple threads on the topic, insist it's happening, declare it as news on your own website, defy/ignore everyone else's logic, and create several screen names to prove a point. Oh yeah, and need I forget that it wasn't just about one ride.. EVERY ride was apparently heading to MiA, X-Flight was just the MOST vocal one you were talking about.

umm no. I didint start any threads on it. I was board one day so i worked on my site. I had one name, got kicked off, you guys were giving me crap so i quit, but then i remembered I wasnt their to make friends, i joinded because i LOVE coasters, and rejoined.

Now lets get back to the announcement that PKI is giving today. Dammerman it's just water under the tree.

So I guess the "question" is if they will change the name of the ride and/or add any theming to it?

I wish they could find a way to make it more intense.

The official announcement isn't happening until the 5th. If that is untrue, I will edit my post. But I have a feeling we'll have to wait until then, or until somebody from that employee party leaks it.

Man, if I could reach through the screen...

They're not giving away anything major at the party.
