ROFL.....Yeah Brian, you freak, they have flyers, what kind of loser are you. Never been to PKI......loser ;) .
I don't think this pkifanatic realizes who he is bashing here. Two of the nicest, most respectable people I know in the enthusiast community. Two people that REALLY do know PKI like the claim to. Just settle down a bit man. So you don't like PKI, and you're not enlightened enought to like flat rides. They used to not be my thing either, and now, I love them. In fact, if PKI is not getting a coaster, I would LOVE to see them get a frisbee. I will be there for opening day, waiting in line for the new ride, like I have for the past 6 years. I've always wanted to try a frisbee.

Part of a Flight Attendant's arrival announcement: "We'd like to thank you folks for flying with us today. And, the next time you get the insane urge to go blasting through the skies in a pressurized metal tube, we hope you'll think of us."
Hey Homey they do have flying eagles and let you snap them. Oh no out of the whole 1,000 people on the site about 1/3 of us have been to PKI. Out have that 1/3 (333) about 1/3 of them will not go to PKI next year. So PKI is going to lose roughly 111 people next year, which is not that big of a deal. You can sit at home and wine about there not being a coaster next year, but when they anounce the giga, you'll all coming running in. When they anounce the giga, the people that went to CP next year will go to PKI in 2004. So you can all sit and wine, but when we get a big coaster you'll all come running back.
It isn't called whining boy....it is called boycotting. And yeah that is the idea.... And you cannot tell how many people PKI will lose by the posters on this site...my guess is, is that PKI is truly lucky...lucky to have a BUNCH and I meen a bunch of suckers to take the crap that they dish out. Teasing them every year about a new attraction... I wonder sometimes why PKI waits to announcer their new ride until the year is almost over...maybe because they will announce a crap ride and people will retaliate by not coming to the park.

Oh but I do and I don't care. Nicest...maybe one of the two.. And I find it dang funny whenecer I post MY OPINION that every thinks I am yelling and about ready to blow a gasket....err no..I just enjoy proving ya fellas wrong.

Eric, I'm right with ya. Shaggy and Sean know pretty much everything that goes on at the park. I'm sure that the frisbee will be awesome and I'm gonna try as hard as possible to get up there(I now live in Nashville) for opening day. I've also wanted to try one. They look insane!
And Teenage Ninja, how do you find out all these numbers. Even if you're just guessing, they're most likely completely wrong. Even rides like The Beast, Son of Beast, Vortex, and Flight of Fear bring people in from all over just to try them out! TRTR will do the same thing as well! And guess what? The frisbee will bring in more local people that may decide not to go next year. If anything I bet the parks attendance will go up next year!
Oh and pkifanatic, most of the time YOU'RE the one getting proved wrong.

pkifantic, I am not accusing you of blowing any gaskets or anything. I understand it's your oppinion, but it's just that, an oppinion. Your oppinion puts you in the minority. I don't know where you get off saying that PKI has a bunch of suckers that take the crap they dish out. They have dished out no crap to me. I have taken no crap. :) It is not our place to decide what PKI should get next year. You are sadly mistaken if you think that just because they don't add another coaster, that they will suffer from loss of attendance. The enthusiast community is small compared to the GP, the GP will be just as happy either way. Even within in the enthusiast community, most of them will be happy with anything that PKI gets. PKI is not known for getting a new coaster every year, or every two years anyways. Wasn't the improvement to action done in '99? That's three years between FOF and those. FOF was built in '96 right, can't seem to rememeber. Not getting a coaster doesn't mean they are "dishing out crap."

I think the idea of 2 or 3 minor rides a year (especially with 2?? like a Giant Frisbee and family dark ride shoot-em-up) is great for the park to reach a larger group of people where Scooby Doo will be able to go for the entire family in one shape or form and the Giant Frisbee will bring in the spin-and-puke people that have been waiting forever for something like this. Like in 2001 with Nick Central, this will probably be another major surprise attendance year for the park. So, its the best idea to do things this way and like Shaggy and Sean said, I'm sure the little details the park may add will be more than worth waiting for something major.

Oh and pkifanatic, most of the time YOU'RE the one getting proved wrong.
Really....I don't recall....
Proved you wrong in this post and proved yall wrong in the pardon our dust post....YOU are just to BLIND and BIASED to see it.
I don't know where you get off saying that PKI has a bunch of suckers that take the crap they dish out. They have dished out no crap to me.
Metaphorically speaking....you 30 year olds have the IQ of a bat...
The enthusiast community is small compared to the GP, the GP will be just as happy either way.
Nope wrong again.....last year I was part of the general public. Then guess what happend... I got on my first "coaster" and instantly I demanded for more and I still do... the more kids/teenagers go up there, the more they will want coasters....it is common sense people.
PKI is not known for getting a new coaster every year, or every two years anyways. Wasn't the improvement to action done in '99? That's three years between FOF and those. FOF was built in '96 right, can't seem to rememeber. Not getting a coaster doesn't mean they are "dishing out crap."
In the last few years they have been "known" to do so...

*******After our first coaster of the day, we headed over to my first experience on "Flying Eagles". Let me just tell you, the Eagles are something I could do ALL DAY LONG. Since Sean F. broke his promise to me (haha) to be there to teach me, Kris stepped in and showed me. After watching him one time to get the hang of it, I was soon on my way to "snapping" joy. What a rush from something so seemingly tame! Watching Kris work that thing was funny in itself. Everytime he changes the direction of the fin, he shimmied from side to side like a jockey on a horse trying to get that extra power for the final furlong!*******

I've been reading this thread for a while, and seriously, pkifanatic, grow up and stop complaining. That's wonderful if you decide to boycott one of the finest theme parks in the country, we all have our opinions, and I'll respect that.
But hey everyone, look on the bright side... at least we'll have one less ignorant moron waiting in front of us in line.

Dude! I just did in this post! Are you blind...::shakes head yes::

All of the teenagers I know, even non enthusiasts, agree that PKI needs to get flat rides, not coasters, coasters, and more coasters! If coasters is all you want move up to northern Ohio or California and STOP complaining. You're wrong.
You are drunk...you have to be... most teenagers don't know what flat rides are... most teenages wouldn't take the time to go on a flat ride...
And I am one step a head of you...for senior class trip we plan on going to CP.
If the only thing teens wanted were more and more coasters, I wouldn't see so many of them on Drop Zone, Tomb Raider, and all the other flat rides. Have you heard any of them say, "I'm not going on TRTR any more, because its not a coaster." I'm sure several might even tell you it was a coaster. I think a Frisbee looks thrilling enough to bring in the teens and at least the park is trying something "new" in a sense. If it doesn't work, we might see more coasters come back regularly. My guess is that it will work, especially with the number of people who "voted for it".
Now c'mon how retarded is that.... you took what I said and turned it into something different... something new? What turning their park into a park for ages 6 and below?

While this is true, you have to remember that you can't tell how many people will not go to PKI next year because they didn't put the ride of your dreams in. You would be surprised at how well flat rides are doing in the world. The flat rides I rode in Europe a month or so ago were by far the most intense rides I have ever had. I would LOVE to see a US park get more of these incredible machines, but I speak for myself. Not others.
.my guess is, is that PKI is truly lucky...lucky to have a BUNCH and I meen a bunch of suckers to take the crap that they dish out.
And lucky suckers we are I might add. Unlucky to those that just don't see the big picture and the fun available. Why get so worked up over the park not adding a certain addition? It seems to me that the effort in complaining about it wouldn't be worth it considering the outcome is so minor.
Teasing them every year about a new attraction... I wonder sometimes why PKI waits to announcer their new ride until the year is almost over...maybe because they will announce a crap ride and people will retaliate by not coming to the park.
Teasing? It's called marketing. Most every park does it. Cedar Point is doing it right now with their new ride for next year. While I am in no way a psychic, I have a hunch that people will be flocking to the park next year to check out all the latest additions. Just more suckers to have a blast in one of the best parks in the country IMO. =:^)
And I find it dang funny whenecer I post MY OPINION that every thinks I am yelling and about ready to blow a gasket....
I am sure name calling isn't going to help people see your opinion Mr. pkifanatic.
err no..I just enjoy proving ya fellas wrong.
Hmmm. I must have missed that one. Could you please show me how you proved all of us wrong? Please share with us the incredible amounts of data you must posses that enables you to back up such comments.

Trust me, the next time you decide to come to PKI, I will try and meet up with you. Of course, by that time it will be like 2075 and I probably won't be around again to meet up with you. =:^)
Sorry in advance.

Teasing? It's called marketing. Most every park does it. Cedar Point is doing it right now with their new ride for next year.
It is teasing... a lot like a movie "teasers." That is why they call them that because they tease(sp?) the public into seeing their attraction...
Most every park? Um...PKD didn't do so... they announced their ride...Ceder Point I am sure will too... We already know it is going to be a coaster, or we think we know. Possibly just carelessness? I dunno but at lease they reveal part of the ride. Kings Island is all hush hush about everything...Example TRTR..Heck PKI even managed to upset the "little ones" with that one...
While I am in no way a psychic, I have a hunch that people will be flocking to the park next year to check out all the latest additions. Just more suckers to have a blast in one of the best parks in the country IMO.
Flocking to Ceder Point...yeah I plan on going there to check out "the latest additions."
Or were you talking about PKI....no...sorry. I don't plan on going their in 2004. Best park in the country you say....well maybe most people on this board will agree but I am sure their are those out their that would argue...Ceder Point all the way.
