How does it seem to massive? It isnt massive when it is 5,000 and 225 feet long. Look at these that are either taller or longer.
I was mainly alluding to the fact that the layout is not to scale on the map. The layout really is somewhat similar to Nitro, an L-shaped out and back with a helix at the end. The difference is the helix at the L-bend and the fact that the lengths between the hill, the L-bend, and the turnaround are all 'massive'. Remember that even Nitro, at more than 5000 ft., turns just after the first drop.
I think they could fit it in behind/next to Tomb Raider no problem.

Gonch, that top 1% is mostly hypercoasters... so in the realm of hypercoasters, this one isn't massive.
That's a stretch. That's kind of like saying the basketball player who is 6' 7" isn't tall.
I think the point is hypercoasters themselves are a rarity and by nature they are massive rides.

I say wait until the official announcement. I like speculating too, but I wouldn't take Screamscape's word for considering how horrible their track record is.The source isn't Screamscape.
Oh yeah, it is Shaggy & Screamscape. I would believe Shaggy over Screamscape any day. He has been correct in the past. If you read KIC, they keep going on how Screamscape is nearly always right.
What do you all think of a hypercoaster having only one, massive vertical loop? I think it would be pretty neat to blast through one deep in the woods when you're not expecting it.
I'm with Gonch, it's a freakin' huge coaster. So what if it's 5 feet shorter than Nitro? It's still big. If anything, Kings Island is becoming part of an elite group. While they seem common, not many U.S. parks have hypercoasters and even fewer parks throughout the world have hypercoasters. Besides, the thing hasn't even been built yet and I already declare it the park's best coaster! What comes close? The neutered Racer and Beast? Firehawk? Italian Job? Seriously, this is like putting a Bentley Continental in a parking lot filled with Chrysler Sebrings.
Again, you sling mud without even reading the topic. Shocking...
The posts are talking about how Screamscape, as a percentage, is commonly correct. Not that it's a credible source of information, but rather that it's more often than not right. (Of course 'more often than not' constitutes as little as 51% of the time).
Then again, 90 out of 100 people who post on any roller coaster site like to think that they have some sort of insider info or some sort of special connection in the industry.
Doesn't anyone realize that there's a whole 2008 season ahead of us before 2009 even comes? Kings Island has all sorts of great surprises lined up for the 2008 season and no one's even speculating. The park offers a lot more than just a bunch of rides. I, for one, am looking forward to 2008... and then I'll start worrying about 2009.

Come up with something new.
Chuck, who'd even take some old names that aren't used much anymore. Bobs, Comet, cyclone, dips.
ect

First, being excited about 2009 =/= not being excited about 2008.
Second, this is a site called "Coasterbuzz" so expecting people to not be very very interested and very very excited about a major new coaster (in Ohio, no less) is a bit unrealistic. *** Edited 11/21/2007 1:01:07 AM UTC by matt.***

If you have a problem with people on a different board why wouldn't you address it over there?
