I'm not going to lie, I'm underwhelmed with it. I think they could've used the terrain a bit better. *** Edited 8/6/2008 6:30:15 PM UTC by Nel***

Very nice. I was expecting to be disappointed by the name/theming/etc, but I am very pleased with this. Can't wait to give it a whirl next year.

Nel... how? There isn't much that could be done unless you are thinking ist simply skirts along the ground. Besides, they already have a terrain hugger in the Beast, why reinvent the wheel?

It looks spectacular to me. I'll definately be visiting my family in Ohio next year. I've never been on a B&M Mega, so thats doubly good for me.

Pass da' sizzrup, bro!

Are you serious? Do you really think that the animation would be 100% dead on with regards to terrain?

And since a majority of the ride is 100 feet or more off the ground why would terrain matter? You'd fly right past it anyway.

ZOOOOM! Hey I think that I saw some dirt back there. They need to slow this thing down!!!

I think it looks beautiful. Half the layout is masked in the trees. I hope the animation is fairly on because I think it looks like a winner!

I AM kind of disappointed with the colors though. Red for a diamondback?

^^That's Cedar Fair for ya!! ;)
^^Well the baseball team uses red for a Diamondback, why not? Besides, CF has a love of red coasters :)

Bunkey666, I think that the red track is the snake's tongue, according to the burning skull logo lol.

I think that it's a winner! It looks like a great addition to Kings Island! It's a very big deal!

I am having a very hard time with how the "clues" are associated with the ride though. "Ride Sally Ride"? "Let the horse out of the barn"? I really don't get it, in hindsight.

It's called faking out the coaster enthusiasts. ;)

...or they changed the ride's name from Mustang to Diamondback sometime after the teasers were placed around the construction site.
Sure, come up with a simple, rational explanation and spoil all the fun. ;)

Did the signs show up before or after the reptilian eyeball in the box?
