Wow is based in Reykjavik, Iceland. They've been here for less than a year now. They are a bargain airline where you pay for bags, reserved seats, etc., but the fares are ridiculously low. Typically PIT to Reykjavik can be had for $99 far enough in advance with connections to "close" Europe for $149 and "further in" Europe for the low-200s. They'll also schedule you with a very long layover that includes a tour of Iceland if you want to explore for a few hours before continuing on.
This $69 sale anywhere they go isn't their normal, but it's a great deal if you can make the dates work.
Hi
Recently stumbled upon WOW for the first time when looking for potential flights to Paris for 2018. Then like two weeks later they annouce they're gonna start flying from our neck of the woods in 2018. Then like two or three weeks later, this thread.
It's some kind of sign or something.
I was most amused that they name their planes and give them little bios online...and one is gay...and visits San Francisco as often as it can. (is that politically incorrect or not and could an American airline get away with that?)
Depends. Other than going to Frisco, is he stereotypically fem?
Well, they didn't type that one bio with every "s" changed to "th" to be lispy, so maybe no line was crossed.
MAC has spoken. Not offensive.
Is it black?
Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
Rainbow. Duh.
I hadn't heard of Wow until you guys mentioned it the other day and then they announced this morning that they're going to start a DFW to Reykjavik route for $99.
Daddy! Daddy? I want to ride the gay airplane Daddy! I want to ride the gay airplane right now!

Ah, how fun. Wooden Warrior debuts at 58. Sadly, though, it looks like Mindbender is close to getting the bump. :-(
Three RMCs this week take pretty precipitous drops: Lightning Rod, Iron Rattler, and Outlaw Run. Interesting.
Interesting indeed, especially as both Lightning Rod & Iron Rattler dropped exactly 8 spots whereas Outlaw Run dropped only 3. Would be even more interesting to know what occasioned the drops.

Rides with relatively low rider counts are prone to a lot of movement, which is why I impose a cut off at all. Also, some of the rides that went up probably saw a boost from fall events.

Maybe someone is salty that wood coasters are evolving?
Hey, let's ride (random Intamin coaster). What? It's broken down? I totally didn't expect that.
