More than launch, top-hat and breaks.

What if there are LIMs at the top of the ride that make you pause on top, before dropping you 400+ feet ?! That sure would make this otherwise simple ride pretty damn scary. Not saying it's gonna be that way, but if they can do it on V2, they could do it here too. Hmmm... just an idea...

I've been to CP alone, and it rocked ! Of course, it was the first, and only time I've been there, so I'm sure that makes a difference. However, I've gone to other of parks alone plenty of times, and I always have fun. Sure, it's not as good as going with friends, but it is far from sucking. Season Passes are great for making "pit stops". Why stop at a rest area, when you can stop at the park for a couple coaster rides as you drive by ? :)

Joe,

I have thought of that before and, though unlikely, it would be pretty awesome. Like the pause on the vertical coaster on RCT.

Imagine: Front Row...400 feet up...staring almost straight down!

Looking at the latest cam pics from Power Tower, it seems more and more obvious that this is L-TH-B. Sure it may have a few twists going up or down, but once this thing comes down the tower, it's hitting the brakes and calling it done. The only option left is if this thing does something before it hits the launch.....and im not sure if that's possible.

Dale

It maybe the L,TH, B but with 2 stations it should have a high capacity... Hopefully a VERY fast moving line. This ride will rock !!!

OK....so I'll open Pandora's box & a can of worms at the same time:

Other than the fact that its full-circuit, what's the difference between this and SFMM's Superman The Escape? They both launch, go up, come down, return to the station.

Atleast this one will make it to the top of the tower, instead of going 2/3rds the way up

LOL Antuan...I was at SFMM last weekend and it was indeed a sad sight watching STE in operation.

And if it didn't make it to the top of the tower, the track going down on the other side of the tower would just be pointless. Look at it this way, S:TE helped pave the way for this coaster. Things in the coaster business change from year to year. S:TE is getting really old and we should respect what it did at the time and see how things changed after it just like after Revolution was built.

I had 10 times more fun on Goldrusher. IMO, there just isn't that much to respect.

If the shoe fits, find another one.

I heard that that was actually the shaft for an elavator to the top of the ride. I doubt it though.

Wow, 'moosh....haven't you had breakfast yet....;). Scary thing is we actually have a woman here at UF IT whose name really IS Pandora. I'll let her know you're coming...

The difference will be the quicker acceleration, the hopefully glorious airtime/view going over the top, and the face first *twisting* drop back to the earth. So there are a couple of "twists" you could say. Oh, and it's several thousand miles closer to my house.

Same company using a similar concept with newer technology to deliver a more thrilling ride.
