Officianado : I know I would also like too see more recent pictures of the new rides AND video of the tv commercial that show them all !!! By the way, you should tell your bosses that we want Jump2 lol ;)

RoCk_StEaDy : I think adding a Zipper wouldn't be a great idea... It's too long to load it !!! Maybe if there was an upgraded version for parks, that could be filled and empty in one shot like every other rides :)

Franchou :)

Still 12 days to wait... It's drivin' me crazy!!!!

Hey guys !!!

Franchou : a Jump2 will be great, but I prefer a big and long rollercoaster.

I know this is almost impossible but just imagine a 'X' ride at La ronde. Or a Superman Ride.I'm sure people will love that kind of ride. And they will be the most popular one. (like the Vampire,Monster,Boomerang and Orbite).

Anyways.... let me dream....:)

see ya

cyberflash : we could have both ;)

That would be totally insane to have two new coasters debute next year, but I don't think it would happen. No one knows for sure what will happen since change of plans could happen any second. Oh well... we gotta wait one more season. He he he.

One thing is for sure, we NEED a MAJOR rollercoaster. Before I went to the states, I found Le Monstre quite big. But I find it quite small now LOL. 39 meters is not enough anymore. we need at least a 60m one (Nitro is 69m with a 65m first drop). I heard rumours that the park woud expand on the other side of the Jacques Cartier Bridge. That would be awsome! But as I said, it is just a rumour I heard somewhere. What about this Officianado???

Franchou :)

Only 10 freakin' daze to go... What a torture!!!

Huh... really because I heard a similar thing. Except that the rides would go further into the island, but the actual park itself wasn't going to expand. Nahhh... I don't know if you know what I mean but... whatever! I can't wait to ride those tea cups. Hehehe.

When I said "the park woud expand on the other side of the Jacques Cartier Bridge",I didn't meant expension of the Island. I meant that rides or other stuff could be built on the actual Island.

Officianado : If they do not expand the park in any ways, where the heck do you want them to put that new coaster, and the parking lot?

Franchou :)

Still 10 days of suffering !!!

They will expend the park into the parking lot of the second entrance (rumor)...

Or they could re-locate some rides like 'Tornade', 'Bateau Pirate, 'ovni'.....

But your right, there is not a lot of place.

See ya ....

I think that since the island is a man made island that was made for the Expo 67, it can become bigger by adding land.

I think that's how they'l do it

Yup and even if they did place a roller coaster on an expanded "made island", won't the boats and all the other things happening on the st-laurence sea way be interupted. Nahhh... I don't know. Maybe they're just gonna do like cyberflash said move around rides tighter together to make more room.

but Nico, if they do expand the island won't their buget disapear because it must cost a whole lot of dough in our days.

Nico.

Imagine the cost of expending the island..Your talking about a lot of millions. And for that, they need the 'ok' of the town of Montreal. That could be long.

Officianado : What exactly do you do at Six Flags. What is your position.

Thanks

I'm with cyberflash, the cost of expanding the island is crazy and about officiando do you really work for six flags and know all thats happening. Anyone could just say anything to make people belive stuff... people are so gullible.

I think this (maybe weird, but it would be a cool thing): Destroy the medival village, and put the loony tunes land they wanted to do. They also said they were going to do a Jacque Cartier theme thingy and a thingy dedicated to the expo '67, well it could go where the monorail passes and nothing happens right before it reaches the vampire. There is a street there. They could just move, and make a new path. Now as far as the f***ing ride over the water (when will they take that zH!t out)... well take that zH!t out and put a ride station and make a custom gigacoaster. Where the kids land is right now, they could just add one coaster and do more flat rides like chaos, inverter and all those, and make it a funky theme area. The theme area would be like really colorful and fun. I think that the budget would be well spend and not too expensive. If they can't make a new custom ride... just take one of the rides from another park where it has been taken out and place it where ever. Ahhh... that would be my dream park La Ronde... I can't wait when the season of the last 5-year investment comes along. La Ronde rocks.

Finally, La Ronde have decided to update their website. There is now full of new pics of the finalised (well, almost) new rides. The new Bumper cars area is huge, and the caroussel very classy.

You can also notice some changes of the park's infrastucture.

8 days to go!!! Go La Ronde! Go Laronde Go!

Franchou :)

I saw the new pics of the finalised new rides..It's very nice. They really did a good job. I just hope those rides will be cool.

And like we say in french : c'est beau en cris :)

Rock Steady : About the expending ; I heard the same rumors as you about the Jacques Cartier theme. They was supose to built a 'Fun House'. Maybe its for next year.

See ya

That would be so cool a fun house... yeah La Ronde rocks

Well... 4 more days...
