Why don't you post some of your personal pictures? Laronde.com doesn't seem to be really active on their photo gallery... Living at so many miles from montreal, I can't have a look on it from the Jacques-Cartier Bridge ;)

countdown: 33 days !!!

mRik: it's true, it's like if they're dead or something. Even the fan sites are not active. It sucks because you don't really get what they are talking about. Oh... well, I guess we'll just have to wait a while.

Officiando: It would be really cool if you would get a chance to go in the park and take pictures to post up, but I guess we shouldn't ask too much. (I don't mean it in a mean way)

Hi Officianado,

To answer your question, I went to La Ronde this weekend to check it out. I did not enter the park, but from the Jacques Cartier bridge, you can see a lot.

I'd love to take some pictures but I don't have a digital camera.

Last year, the web site of La Ronde had nice pics of the new 'Vampire' but this year there is no picture of the 'Manitou' 'Vertigo' etc....just the TobboganNordique...

Its sad for the fans... if I has able to take some pics I would do it for you guys!!

Officianado, I understand for your MSN...if you want to give it to me by e-mail ..it would be nice..

Anyways...see ya everybody

That's cool Cyberflash, but i'm still wondering why people are saying that the new rides are small and that they might disapoint the fans. What are you trying to say, that they are for the kids. I don't know it's just weird, is all.

You guys add me to you msn contact list...we need to do a conference chat about La Ronde...

I just can't wait...I'm purchasing my season pass again..

I went 48 times last year to La Ronde...I have to beat my record this year heh heh*** This post was edited by Nico 4/14/2003 10:18:54 PM ***

Hi!! RockSteady,

I'm not saying the new rides are for kid...but I think La Ronde as too much ride like that...I'm sure they will be fun,

Last year, the 'Vampire' has always full of people ; because it was a major ride....and I think people in Montreal loves thoses kind of ride...

We have only 5 coasters....+1 (Dragon)....just imagine with more...La Ronde could be a international park....

Anyways.. I'll see you on Msn....

Take Care

Yeah. La Ronde is great. I can't wait to go. I have been purchasing my season pass since I was 10 and i've been at least 10 times every year. Well hope to see you people May 17.

I know we are here to talk about LaRonde but I just wanna know how old are the people here?

countdown: 32 !!!

Right now I'm 16... how about you?

Well, I think it's a good thing to vary the kind of rides, but it would be so cool if La Ronde added a big coaster... I live in saguenay (Qc), so i'm far of any theme park (except for laronde, which is at approximately 5 hours from here :S)... Rollercoasters like Goliath, MilleniumForce, Nitro, Titan, Superman R.o.S....look so amazing and so...thrilling ! I can only enjoy them on pictures that I find on the net... Now, if we had a coaster like that, it would be the best thing Laronde would have added since its grand opening ;)

Oh, something I'm thinking about their new rides: I think that Huss' rides are better than Zamperla's ones... Of course zamperla's are cool, but for my opinion, Huss has the best collection of flat ride (especially for their "Jump²" [good for PCW that got one this year ;)] and all their other giant rides)

(rock_steady : i'm 15)

Thanks Offianado,

That's great news....(I hope its for 2004)

For your question Mrik : i'm 22 years old

See ya

It would be cool to have a custom coaster where the other parks don't have it. We only have the monster and don't get me wrong, it's the best, but we should at least have one custom STEEL coaster

Yeah we should get our own custom rides but it's much more expansive..

And I'll be 16 in May..

but it would be cool!

Nice picture mRIk....

Did you see the ones on laronde.com

of course, i saw them ;) I'm just looking forward to seeing the design of Manitou and Vertigo... Are the rides construction advanced more than what we can see on the pictures?

Yeah, it's true. I though of something wicked, but probably imposible. It would be cool if they would put floorless trains on the cobra, or maybe just put a B&M floorless. Hummm... that would be cool. Looking forward to the grand opening.

mRik:

The construction is done. I saw the Manitou and its very nice. The Vertigo to.

But I think the Tea-Cup is awesome...(maybe not the ride but the design)

Ciao
