I'm a little disappointed that the park doesn't have official info on its Web site already.

2,002 feet of track? That sounds extremely short for a coaster that is launched at 82 mph. I would guess it's so short because it's been crammed into the former Windjammer area.

Oh well... I'm sure it will be great anyway :)

I told you, NO inversions!
Were did you get 2003? Vertical drop, that means probably otsr's! =(
Sounds cool. Sounds similar to a thrust air... excepts its not :\
Wow sounds cool, who was it that was very vocal that it would not have an X in its name lol. Is this the first launched hyper coaster.

Army Rangers lead the way
It may not because she didnt answer what type of restraints where to be used... I have a feeling it is lap bars.
So... What kind of launch is it? LIM, LSM, pneumaitc? Thats what I want to know most. For how fast it launches, I'd guess pneumatic, but I'm not sure.

I wanna see the layout!
I wanna see the layout too. I really wonder how it is gonna go up 205 feet. Could it go up vertically? Or will it go up at about 80° or even 60°? Whatever it does, it sounds cool, and it sounds alot like a TA2K. I would think it would have LIM launch, since all Intamin's newest launched coasters use LIM's, except S:TE. If it lasts 62 seconds and is 2002 feet long, then it must go pretty fast. Can anyone else see them advertising this as 2002 feet for 2002?
Nice! A 205 foot drop at a 90 degree angle, and it's full circuit. I hope we see more of these around.

erm, remember that one guy who was saying all that info about this ride and how it started with "X" and it was 205' feet tall and you guys totally shutted him out because you guys thought you knew all? i think the people who were saying that owes him an apology... (btw, i dont recall his name, but im sure the person will say something)
In the article it said "Xcelerator's tallest hill is 205 feet...", which means we can probably assume that there is at least one more hill or bunny hop of some sort...  I'm looking forward to this one.

Wow sounds very awesome...the name sure doesn't seem to match the 50's theme, though.

What an Xcellent and Xtreme year in California neXt year!

If the Xcelerator is there, than what about XK1? They both beging with X, and are both made by Intamin. It wold fit there nicely
The article mentioned that Intamin is making this ride, and also made Perilous Plunge. Surprise surprise. Of course, they have to point out that someone died on it. And it sounds wackily entertaining. Now I'm actually looking forward to my previously boring California vacation..
Yeah i knew that guy wasnt making that up and this proves it! If your out there please respond! Btw this coaster sounds great i wish i lived in Cali.
