KK BIG breakdown?!?!?

...or anything else that's completely stupid that I forgot to mention.

Oh, you mean like random posts criticizing the fact that a conversation -- gasp! -- evolved and progressed onto something that may not be 100% on topic...you know, the way normal conversations typically progress? Or perhaps you meant such interjections that offer no additional value to the conversation and are thereby hypocritical at best?

The fact is, no one really has any new information on KK and we're having fun...is that so bad?

Bad Dave! Bad, bad Dave! ;)
The bad standards have really gone down, haven't they?

But hey, if that's bad, I don't wanna be good! ;)

"Just a small update....All the brakes have arrived and most of them have been installed. The catwalk is in the process of being moved to the outer side of the track. This means its almost ready but then you have to go through testing all over again and then readjust to your test results. But its coming along faster then expected. They now beleive that the brakes engadged too soon which caused the sudden stop."

Well thanks, Mr. Killjoy. ;)

Seriously, if that's true, that sounds like good news. Perhaps someone more qualified than me (i.e. someone that understands the nuts and bolts of this kind of stuff) would be able to offer a reasonable estimate for the beginning of retesting?

It was. And it messed up the brakes, the track, the train, etc.

Fri. mornings for the season pass time are the best. Arrive 9:30 at the latest if you want to beat the crowd. That is, of course, assuming it comes back up anytime soon (which I doubt).

The mechanics are working around the clock trying to fix Kingda Ka. It has been said that they are hopeing for an opening by the end of July.

Andy...see ya on the last Fri morning of July and/or the first Fri morning of August....we'll find out for sure! ;)

Assuming Ka is still down (which is my default non-disappointed position, LOL)...what rides are/have they been running? I'm ALWAYS up for, and down with, some rides on Chilla! ;)

Robin's the only side of Chiller that's been going. And chaos has been down for a while, but everything else (even RT) has been running pretty well.

As for early Fri's, last few weeks that had the Old Frontier area open early (Medusa etc.)

Let me know when you're around. I'll stop by.

Im gonna be there Aug. 5th too :)
They rotate the rides which open early is what I heard. I work fridays so I can't get there for the ERT. But I may try to sneak up Aug 5th since night is the start of my Coaster Trek.

Gator, I got some news you might like B:TC might be opening this season.

Watch the tram car please....
The ERT starts at 9 right?
I will be going to Great Adventure at the end of August. Can I get into the park for ERT with a SFoG season pass or does it have to be a pass from Great Adventure?

McCain Palin '08

i think one season pass counts for every SF park

i will be going to SF:Great Adventure on the 21 or 22 and the 30th
yes it starts at 9 and any SF season pass works for it.

I can't type tonight.... :( *** Edited 7/14/2005 12:37:13 AM UTC by dragonoffrost***
