. . . . and I am sure there are more. I hope I'm wrong, but that's just my hunch.
Fate is the path of least resistance.
But SFI seems to have come around to the realization that they need to *dominate* the NY and Chicago markets...I think they recognize the importance of Ka in claiming the NYC demographic. They're in danger of losing the Philly peeps to Dorney if they fail to get Ka up and operational.
SF is bad about this kind of (initial) ride-debugging, as you noted. And GAdv's history certainly suggests nothing better. But I'm gonna go with my heart instead of my head on this one....mostly cause I want to ride in August! ;)

OK YOU GUYS ARE ALL WRONG ABOUT SUPERMAN AT DARIEN LAKE........ I"m late on this but I lived in Buffalo at the time..... IT WASN"T ANYBODIES FAULT except the passenger. IT happend at the end of the ride waiting to pull into the station, the guy stood up and fell out... Superman didn't have seatbelts installed only lapbars.. Within a few days seatbelts were installed. I rode Superman opening day and was there the week before when testing was going on... Superman had many roll backs that day after leaving the lift hill.... Get it right jesus mary...
First of all, ALL CAPS is very frowned upon and will deter people from reading your post. Second of all, if the passenger was able to stand up anywhere outside of the station, the ride malfunctioned. The lap bars should not disengage (and actually, from what I understand are not even able to disengage under normal operation) outside of the station.
I also recall that the person was not ejected while in the final brake run, but I'm not nearly as sure of that as I am of my other two points.
So in short, stop trolling.

So if the problen is the launch cable the ride should be up in days, not weeks or months.
secondly i have talked to the mechanics myself. They probably work harder then most of the people on these boards do.
Also i think six fglags is doing a great job considering this is most likely an intamin design flaw.
There are a couple of differences between kk and ttd. six flags gadv has been working on getting this fixed. there have been numerious people who have said they witnessed groups of people working on the ride.
The latest is their were 2 groupsd of mechs working on the launch track and the cable was no where to be seen.
So it's safe to say that I never really need to ride Ka, because it will never run as smoothly as Dragster and because Dragster is taken care of. That's the blind truth. *** Edited 7/3/2005 11:41:42 PM UTC by Cedar Point Junkie 2007***
