KK BIG breakdown?!?!?

Yea, and with OTSR's, insurance costs are a whole lot lower.

CP was amazing, going back next June to ride Maverick

Oooppps, I ment three :). Galaxy doesn't, AFAIK Supes doesn't (yet), and of the three that does, one is in NJ, and from what I understand, it wasn't going to originally, and one of those has inversions.

That's not a fact. Do you have a copy of the insurance policy to see? Can you get and compare 2 quotes at progressive.com?

Just one of those "truths" that some enthusiast started and has perpetuated. And also lives on by "someone who worked at a park told me" (Lemon Chill guy)

Six Flags has had problems with Intemin coasters the past 4 years. When was the last time someone got thrown from and killed on MF? Oh I forgot you can't get thrown from a coaster with no airtime at all. Thats why SF put otsr on KK. How many rides on KK do you have CPjunkie. I have ridden TTD and KK and it took me 6 visits to CP to finally ride TTD. IMO KK launch is much better than TTD and you don't even notice the otsr on KK. Before you rate a coaster try riding it first.
If you aren't getting any air on MF, then you must weight an astronomical amount, and thus wouldn't be allowed on the train for safety reasons. Granted, there isn't a ginormous amout of air, but it is on there.
I'm used to riding SROS at SFNE with plenty of ejecter air over 80 rides so far this season but I have over 50 rides on MF sorry it doesn't compare to SROS. I want to know what changes were made to MF to knock SROS out of the top spot, did they add more airtime hills since last season?
I'm not saying that it does compare to RoS. I prefer many hypers over Millie, but at the same time, you can't say Millie has no airtime.

More than likely, S:RoS was kicked out of the top spot because someone was killed on it last season, and they made a few mods to the ride, making more than a few people less than happy. Personally, I'd rank Phantom's Revenge way above Millie on any poll.

My point is for some reason SF has bad luck with intemin coasters and I think Intemin should find better engineers to design there coasters to make them safer and more reliable. I knew from the start they would have problems with KK because B&M didn't build it. Intemin knew too but they were just thinking of the $$$$$ instead of making a reliable ride. I'm supprised that they are still in buisness and I don't think they will build any more big launch coasters if park owners open their eyes to they're track record not to mention all the law suits over the past 4 yrs.
See, you guys have this all wrong.

SF built KK for one reason and one reason alone: you-know-what envy. Plain and simple. And now, even though it may not be operating, at least SF can claim superiority in that department.

As for the rehabs, it's all untrue. What they're really doing is rewiring the speaker system so that, instead of a loud airhorn, whenever a train launches, the speakers will blast the first verse of "Cigaro" by System of a Down, loud enough so that Cedar Point ride ops can hear it and hang their heads in shame in regular 2-minute intervals.

And I know all of this because my mom told me. And she knows someone whose kid was a Lemon Chill guy once, so there!

Even Dave is wrong on this one. It all comes down to who has the bigger penis: Cedar Point or Great Adventure. Since Great Adventure's is 456' in length, they beat out Cedar Points, even if the point doesn't need an Rx for Levitra to run theirs.
I have to agree that MF has airtime. Especially if you sit near the end of the train. Of course it not like the airtime you would get on a classic John Miller coaster like the Big Dipper.

Also, did I ever say that Ka doesn't have airtime? No, I know it has plenty of airtime, but it would be better with just lap bars.

TeknoScorpion, maybe you didn't read Dave's post. He was being a little more subtle about it, but "you-know-what envy" = "penis envy"

And to Ajrides, I have not yet ridden SROS. It is to far to frequent on a regular basis, and the one time I was at the park, it was down. So as of this point, I can not fairly compare SROS to MF, but if your saying MF has no air compared to SROS, then you must be riding SROS with your anti-gravity pants on, because you get unbeliveable air on every hill MF has.

TTD, the tallest, fastest, operating coaster in the world, LOL. :} Just a joke, don't get your panties in a bunch.

Been going to the Point for over 30 years and still love it!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, wtf have you been riding? MF has very intense air on every hill on the ride...you clearly have never ridden it. So please leave or STFU.

And it's INTAMIN not "Intemin"

Here, here, Raging Bull, well said.

Uh, Jason? Yeah, I was just being really sarcastic. I'm sure Dave got it, I was just putting it into terms those 12 year old brains above that post would understand. See, Dave is too intelligent for his own good sometimes, and that comes across in his humor, which certain people just don't get.

I really didn't think I needed a smily in there or a winky along with the words 'penis' and 'Levitra', but I guess, once again, I was wrong.

Raging bull I've been a member of ACE for 7 yrs and been to 6 straight coaster mania events and I make it out to the point at least 2 times a year because it is 1 of my favorite parks and I've been riding coasters for over 35yrs. I think I know how to rate a ride. Face it MF is all about height and speed just like TTD. Don't get me wrong MF is in my top 5 fav steel but mainly for its first drop . When you come up to SFNE to ride SROS get in touch with me and I'll show you how to power ride 1 great coaster. I know all the ops and I reride a lot. I just rode it 10 times today. IMO the best steel at CP is Raptor. As far as air on MF you get a little floater air over the 2nd & 3rd hills thats it no ejecter air.

Is that what it takes to make you an expert coaster rider? Whoopee.

I'm sorry, I agree that Millie is more about speed and height, but there is air. You said there wasn't. I've only ridden 124 coasters, only been riding less than 20 years, and am not a member of ACE, yet I'm pretty good at rating rides myself. Regardless of ratings, I was thrown up and out of my seat at least 3 times on Millie.

Make it 4!!! Take the back seat. Great Air at 310ft. WHOOPIE!!!
Hmmm, I thought this thread was about KK's breakdown, not what coaster has better airtime, or what park is better, or what company runs their parks better, or penises, or anything else that's completely stupid that I forgot to mention.
