My guess is a custom slc.

rap metal sucks!
If PKI goes as low as getting a Vekoma full circuit SLC, custom or not, I promise to you all I will never go to PKI again. No park of their status should ever stoop that low.

PKI will receive a 350ft, 105mph, 8500ft long, Arrow Giga!! It will be a definite return for Arrow Dynamics and will be called "Mother Beast."

"I don't see them ever using the "Beast" moniker again. The Beast was a very special creation. It took 20 years for anyone to dare put that name on another thrillride, I wouldn't look for PKI to toss that name around just to complete the family. Besides, seems like cheating to me. I like new ideas.

How about Steel Behemoth?

Then why'd you post in it?
I just read a rumor in some thread about someone in the KY area working for a company that saw a bid for a building house for KI. The name INFERNO was being used. Any other info on this from anyone who can confirm/deny it.
That rumor was an submission to Thrillride.com and was supposedly from a contractor. He said that there was an upcoming bid for a $3,000,000 building at PKI and that the bid was for the building only, not the attraction. On the notice was the description "Inferno."
Depending upon whether you buy it or not, sounds like a dark ride. I'm not sure why a contractor would be privy to the name of the attraction, which leads me to believe that someone's just making it up. But I've been wrong before.
At least twice. :)

I still think it is going to be a thrust air because PKD got one.

As for the name of the new coaster, if it's steel, I humbly suggest MechaBeast.

I really, really want a hyper... the Paramount chain lacks HEAVILY on these. Look at every other amusement park corporation... there most well known and loved coasters are...HYPERS! Magnum, Millenium Force,Superman:Ride of Steel, Steel Force, Phantom's Revenge, ETC! C'mon Paramount, take a hint..sure we love your woodies, but how bout a nice airtime filled hyper!

Life is short, make it count...

PGA got Stealth, no other paramount park got a flyer, so why would it be a thrust air?

CP in 2002, get to the point
Rumor has it that the X-Flight design was supposed to be the next Paramount Flying Dutchman, but for unknown reasons they passed.

Any chance anyone else out there has a flying coaster that PKI might be using? Also do you still think this is a prototype ride or an existing model of something? Before sonny there has been rumors of the longest steel coaster being built (2+ miles).....
I still got my money on a dark ride expericence like Spiderman at IOA or MIB at USF. I'd bet they'd put some sort of a movie theme on it, Tomb Raider could be the most interesting, IMO.

I sure hope not.
Reason being, it took a hundred million bucks to build Spiderman. PKI could spend, at the most, twenty. And that would be their most expensive ride ever.
As great as Spiderman is, and as much as I would love to have something like it at PKI, it's not feasible. Anything attempted would be second rate due to the nature of seasonal parks and their spending abilities. They just don't have the money of the Disneys and Universals of the world. If you're going to do something like that, you should do it right.
