Kings Island Fast Lane

As I age, the pay to cut schemes hold a lot of value for me. I simply will not wait in lines over 20-30 minutes for anything. If it gets longer than that I'd rather go hang by the hotel pool. I utilize Fastpass, etc to the limit.

If they could individualize the process even more...I'm all over it. Sometimes I really have no desire to ride all the rides they have on the pass. I find myself riding rides I'd rather skip because they are on the upgrade. I'd rather ride my favorites a couple times, for example. This is why individualization like the old ticket system makes some sense to me. I'm willing to pay quite a premium to ride just the rides I want when I want to do it.

I'm even getting too lazy to get up early and beat the crowds. Staying at Universal Orlando on site changed my whole perspective. The difference between sleeping in and being able to go cut line for ANY ride/show at any time, versus the typical "go early" strategy is amazing. It is simply stress free park entertainment of the likes I've NEVER had anywhere else. Their hotel costs are indeed ridiculous...but I could never do those parks the "old way" again. I'll pay the ransom, as the benefits are worth it for me.

When I was younger, I'd wait 2 hours for the big stuff and not blink. The park would have to pay me to do that today. I'm a lot like Cartman when he bought his own amusement park.

Cedar Point may still offer a "Bonus Weekend" price during the slower seasons.

They haven't done that in quite a while.
