Kingda Ka Media Day postponed.

First post here, just wanted to add something. It's been said several times that season pass holders will also get to ride Kingda Ka before the general public (after the media day event of course). I remember it said this on the website when I purchased my season pass last year, and it was reconfirmed recently in a news article with a quote from someone from PR at Six Flags...don't remember where I found the link, but I think it was on one of these forums.

We saw them running it as we left and it looks AWESOME. We heard this loud air horn sounding noise, and then we saw the train launch! I so wish it would have been open, I love going to the park before all the schools get out and the lines aren't too bad.

I was talking to one of the employees about Kingda Ka, and he said the only reason it is not open is the state never came to inspect it. I asked several employees and went to an information booth, and they all had the same response.

Now, either it really wasn't inspected yet, or all the dummies flew out of the car during testing...take your pick on what you would like to believe ;)

I *told* them to make sure it went under the tophat, LOL....but they kept saying Chiller:Batman already goes on the *approved* side of a tophat and they didn't need ANOTHER coaster to do that...

Of course, I had to ask when "the good side" of Chiller would be opening... ;)
