Italian Job At PKI in 2005!

Great detective work there Carnage!
These look like the second and third installations of Intamin's AquaTrax ride. It looks like a lot of fun and it's unique, too, which is incentive to finally visit both parks should I ever relocate back to the east coast.

I am wondering how long a ride this will be. And, what kind of capacity? Looks like the train will only hold twelve. Hope there's at least 3 trains.
From what I just saw on the news of the video you really can't tell where the location is. You can see the Eiffle Tower in the background along with Drop Zone. It did look closer to the Eiffle Tower and the Antique Cars more than anything.
I hope the name of the shipping company in the concept artwork makes it to the final ride.

With twelve passengers per train, let's hope it runs several at the same time.

If they are going to do something so heavily themed, it would be nice if they have budgeted to keep all the special effects working more than 2-3 years after it opens. A themed experience tends to lose a lot more if the theming is allowed to deteriorate. Can the base ride stand on its own as a solid experience?

The a good point Eric I bet the special effects will not be working in 2006.

I'd say with two launches like it is said to have it will run many trains. My guess is 4.

I am suprised no one has said this, so let me be the first. Great job Keith! You did a kick butt job on this animation. This is definently your best so far. I like how you keep adding more and more detail each animation. I definently like the reflection and explosion effects. Congratulations again! That was definently a job well done!
Confirmation : The ride will be on the location of Antique Cars. There is an indoor section of the ride following the second launch. Appears to have some great headchoppers and you the tunnel into a drop into a pool of water. I just watched the full video and wow; I'm stunned.

Also Great job Keith on the animation video.

This looks like So. Much. Fun. Wow. It's about time someone actually got theming right.

My blog You said, "I'm gonna run you down." I heard, "I'm an orangutan."
Den, who say's they'll get it right... :) Remember, those are just animations, I'm interested to see how close the ride will be to them when it's finished.
Who is making the ride? Parts of the track in the animation look intamin

Real Cbuzz quote of the day - "The classes i take in collage are so mor adcanced then u could imagen. Dont talk about my emglihs" - Adamforce
But that one overbank and the general feel of the cars looks kinda Maurer-Sohne (which the track could be also)
That's true....or I thought Gerstlauer for a minute too. But MS and Gerst. haven't built launchers before, no? I'm stumped

While the helix supports look like the supports of gerstlauer coasters im pretty sure this is an Intamin coaster...........Or am I?

Could this be the revival of Intamin coasters at paramount parks?

After watching the vid several times I have come to the conclusion that im just gonna wait until the stats come out because as of now it can be anyone's coaster lol lol. Who knows what these other companies had/has under their sleeves. *** Edited 8/12/2004 5:37:11 PM UTC by coasterbruh***

There are no bad coasters, only better coasters!!

It is indeed correct. This coaster will be located where the Antique Cars are currently located. I spoke to Jeff Siefert this morning.
Revival? Besides PGA's kiddie, what is there to revive? Isin't that the only Intamin in the chain as of now? (Not including IJST, of course.)
Volcano...........

How soon do we forget ;)

There doesn't appear to be a lot of information in Keith's animation about the launch. You can't see the LIMs, but I don't remember if the he's ever done a LIM coaster before (and if so, if the LIMs are in there). The track in the launch sections looks short though - doesn't look in any way like Intamin hydraulic launch track.

I could just be putting too much pressure on Keith's details ;)

--Brett, who before this weekend would have said those side-to-side swipes point to Maurer-Sohne too, except Storm Runner shows perfection in side-to-sides ...
