Also, "in the back" certainly points to this not being some sort of flat ride, and I doubt she'd be wanting to ride "in the back" if single cars were involved or it were something where back/front didn't really matter.
Edit - and I'd agree with Moosh that the Shutes ride is still possible, as the vehicle is pretty big and front/back is still a bit of a consideration. A water ride with a smaller individual vehicle not so much. Still, something about the posts say "coaster" to me. *** Edited 8/18/2008 11:31:47 PM UTC by matt.***

It could very well be a coaster...honestly I have no clue what the park is getting.
I like your idea because honestly it's a good one and I've had the same thoughts. The placements of the current stakes and the hints just make me think it's something else this time around.
Of course, the way HW expands there will probably be at least 2 new attractions included in the announcement, I'd bet.
After looking around for a price, I did find one of the SuperSplah rides with an actual elevator lift... http://www.rcdb.com/id3029.htm
Curiouser and curiouser.... ;)

I'm revising my guess: a shoot-the-chutes with an elevator-type lift (as lift was mentioned in Paula's blog entry too).
My thoughts exactly.
The last word in the entry about the Allentown park is "classic" FWIW. (Which ties in perfectly with the mention of the El Camino in the other story. LOL.) The "writer" of that story mentioned he did "take a pass" on the bumper cars. And what's the significance of the "new Colts' house?"
If only they could find a way to work some of Shock or Wave into the mix. :(
Perhaps it is a brand new (prototype) ride and/or technology. It wouldn't be the first time for that at HW. At this point Paula's hints have me tripping all over myself so I'm going to quit trying to figure it out and just wait a week.
I am glad to hear that it will be some sort of thrill ride as opposed to "standard" flats.
