Teach little Timmy and little Suzie to wait their turn.
My kids already know how to wait in line. Now it's time to teach them that there are better alternatives. ;)

A shoot-the-chutes that can be accessed by both the rides park and water park would be a super idea (and one I've mentioned numerous times before)

And if you add a big pool of gravy at the bottom that your feet splash into the the bottom would be a great addition.
So I'll do the obvious and connect these two previously unrelated thoughts and give you a prediciton of a gravy-themed Shoot-the-Chutes ride...
The Gravy Boat :)
How would you explain that line cutting is wrong if you buy into the line cutting system?
(In a fake English accent) "Well, Timmy, it's not really cutting because we paid for it."
It just doesn't sound right to me.
Holiday world would never be so family un-friendly, right?

I would never want my kids to think that they are better than everyone else, but that's just me.
Neither would I. Luckily, VQ systems do no such thing. :)

I dunno. My kids are 6 and 10 and they understood the concept pretty well. How dumb do you think kids are?

I know. Nothing like those family unfriendly bastards at Disney World! ;)
Also, Topple Towers don't drop. They spin and tilt. And they're really not all that fun. Not a single person on Marinelands was screaming nor laughing.
Anyway. I've always thought VQ's created a sort of "caste system" in parks. It's about those that "have" and those that "have not" deciding who gets to the front of the line.
Admittedly, curiosity led me to buy a flash-pass once at SFGAm. Haven't since. It didn't realy improve my overall experience. It was back when they started the program and I paid something like $15 for a 3or 4 ride pass. It got me some dirty looks and more time on my hands to feel I should buy another one. They want you addicted to the conveinience and to keep shelling out the bucks for it. I say, "No thanks"..."I have to eat too, Mr. K."
Besides. Don't you get a real sense of a parks perfomance by how long you wait in line in?
Back on topic: My guess is a Dive Machine named Mayflower.
The pirate ship that Danthecoasterman proposes could be called the "Gravy Boat". ;P
Thanks for another great season, VF!
I thought this would be yet another good angle in my fight against (an losing, I know) VQ.
I wish Topple Towers were more reliable. They look like fun.

And for those who are wondering (and I know some are) I am talking about an actual dream. I'm not talking in code and giving some sort of inside info or reiterating what a source told me.

Hey! I did the gravy boat joke, six posts above yours. :)

That's because the lame ass ticket version sucks. It's not the real deal. A Qbot is an entirely different experience - and we're long past the "I don't understand why you're getting to ride" dirty looks. People get it now. The environment isn't even remotely hostile like it was back in the day when no one understood how the system worked.

I though I was in all of your dreams. :)
But you have to think they might use the name somewhere in the Thanksgiving area. It's just too good and easy...like gravy. :)
And whatever ride they eventually use it on will have oversized seating.
As for the Q-bot. I've never felt the need to use one. Doesn't mean I won't in the future. It will be taken case by case.
Thanks for another great season, VF!
