Teach little Timmy and little Suzie to wait their turn.

My kids already know how to wait in line. Now it's time to teach them that there are better alternatives. ;)

I agree, not likely. Just the best guess based on the clues so far. And you have to admit, a 12 story tall turkey leg with people sliding down the side of it would be something to see. And if you add a big pool of gravy at the bottom that your feet splash into the the bottom would be a great addition.

Life is an amusment park -and I can't get off of the damn spinning teacups!

A shoot-the-chutes that can be accessed by both the rides park and water park would be a super idea (and one I've mentioned numerous times before)

So I'll do the obvious and connect these two previously unrelated thoughts and give you a prediciton of a gravy-themed Shoot-the-Chutes ride...

The Gravy Boat :)

I would never want my kids to think that they are better than everyone else, but that's just me.

How would you explain that line cutting is wrong if you buy into the line cutting system?

(In a fake English accent) "Well, Timmy, it's not really cutting because we paid for it."

It just doesn't sound right to me.

Holiday world would never be so family un-friendly, right?

Neither would I. Luckily, VQ systems do no such thing. :)

I dunno. My kids are 6 and 10 and they understood the concept pretty well. How dumb do you think kids are?

Holiday world would never be so family un-friendly, right?

I know. Nothing like those family unfriendly bastards at Disney World! ;)

A turkey themed HUSS Topple Tower??? Take a gander at the Eagle Themed example and tell me you don't see a Turkey Tom Topple Tower. We'd have a peice that fits Paula's not so subtle Thanksgiving cues and even uses a water element.

Topple Tower? Not likely based on their reliability...or rather lack there-of. On my recent visit to Marineland I was told to ride their's because it was soon to be the last one in North America.

Also, Topple Towers don't drop. They spin and tilt. And they're really not all that fun. Not a single person on Marinelands was screaming nor laughing.

LostKause, you sound like those Christians who don't want to teach their kids about Santa clause because "When they find out I lied about that, they will wonder if I lied about Jesus, too".

"I've been born again my whole life." -SAVED
^What?

Anyway. I've always thought VQ's created a sort of "caste system" in parks. It's about those that "have" and those that "have not" deciding who gets to the front of the line.

Admittedly, curiosity led me to buy a flash-pass once at SFGAm. Haven't since. It didn't realy improve my overall experience. It was back when they started the program and I paid something like $15 for a 3or 4 ride pass. It got me some dirty looks and more time on my hands to feel I should buy another one. They want you addicted to the conveinience and to keep shelling out the bucks for it. I say, "No thanks"..."I have to eat too, Mr. K."

Besides. Don't you get a real sense of a parks perfomance by how long you wait in line in?

Back on topic: My guess is a Dive Machine named Mayflower.

The pirate ship that Danthecoasterman proposes could be called the "Gravy Boat". ;P

Thanks for another great season, VF!

I do? Sorry...lol. I have this whole opinion about the "lied about Jesus" thing that really isn't suitable for here, but it's probably right along with yous...

I thought this would be yet another good angle in my fight against (an losing, I know) VQ.

I wish Topple Towers were more reliable. They look like fun.

They do look like fun. I found it to be a pleasant diversion at best but not at all thrilling.

Topple Towers suck, plain and simple. They look cool and the ride is by no means *unpleasant* or anything but really, the most generic, pedestrian of flat rides are more entertaining to me. I can't imagine anyone riding one of these and buying one for their own park, but maybe that's why I don't run parks.

I had a dream last night that they added a Shoot-the-Chutes and a new games area to the Thanksgiving section. My dream didn't include details about Splashin Safari, lol.

So are you telling us that you had a "wet dream?"

*rim shot* Thank you! Thank you!

LOL...that's pretty funny!

And for those who are wondering (and I know some are) I am talking about an actual dream. I'm not talking in code and giving some sort of inside info or reiterating what a source told me.

Hey! I did the gravy boat joke, six posts above yours. :)

That's because the lame ass ticket version sucks. It's not the real deal. A Qbot is an entirely different experience - and we're long past the "I don't understand why you're getting to ride" dirty looks. People get it now. The environment isn't even remotely hostile like it was back in the day when no one understood how the system worked.

I though I was in all of your dreams. :)

Only the good ones :)

And I'm in the bed ones. Er- I mean Bad! BAD ones!

Oops...Sorry Gonch. Don't know how I missed it.

But you have to think they might use the name somewhere in the Thanksgiving area. It's just too good and easy...like gravy. :)

And whatever ride they eventually use it on will have oversized seating.

As for the Q-bot. I've never felt the need to use one. Doesn't mean I won't in the future. It will be taken case by case.

Thanks for another great season, VF!

^Don't worry, Gonch is just jealous because he's not as cool as me anymore. ;)

(Okay, so I didn't come up with the name...but the name generated from my idea! That counts for something, right? :))
