How did you come up with member name

Scooter, i rode one of those things at Canobie last Monday. it was called "Roaring Roosters," and YES there was a bit of a wind blowing. VERY FUN!

it's really lame, it was because of the time when STE at SFMM was new, kind of a fit of self irony
sometimes I don't like it anymore, but on the other hand, it's kind of a classic, so why not

I sometimes wondered if there is a way to change one's nick without loosing all your personal history etc.

'Mid' is the first half of my last name

'Wave' is short for Shortwave Radio, of which I was a user in the 1980s and 1990s

'PC' is for my extra job of repairing & building computer systems and websites

...I was 'midwave', but that's a long story on how I tried to change my email, but never got a confirmation email...somewhere 'midwave' is in Coasterbuzz limbo....

I've been using the nickname 'midwave' since 1997, and other similar variations

I am sure I answered this way back in 2001 or 2004 but I am too lazy to search so...

I have used Coasterqueen for various forums, email addresses, screen names etc. since I first appeared on the net. I guess I have been using it about 9 or 10 years now! WOW! Maybe I should copyright it. ;)

I am too lazy to change it. When I first signed on here in late 2001 "Coasterqueen" was already taken at the time. I was too tired and lazy to get creative, so I just added the "TRN" which are my initials.

Boring, I know. ;)

It's one of my favorite rides. (NOT the SFMM ride though).

When I was studying mechanical engineering at Iowa State, I was talking with my buddy about using egineering jargon to come up with a "neat" name for a rock band. We combined Acoustic Velocity (speed of sound) and Viscosity to "create" Acoustic Viscosity. It gets to be a bit tedious to spell it out all the time, so AV Matt was born.

I think I might vaguely remember posting something to this effect somewhere in here at some point prior, but maybe not... ;)

At any rate, "Robocop" is among my favorite films, and rollercoasters are among my favorite things, so I simply mashed them together. I did this waaaaaay before KUKA designed a ride with the same moniker.

It is not however, connected to my actual name (Rob Bob) in any way outside of coincidence. If my real name were Pete Jones, I still would have signed up as Robocoaster.
