I've voiced my displeasure at these sort of 'clues' many times in the past. But this quote from the Holiblog link Rickrollercoaster posted puts it into perspective:
"Paula’s hints are the mind-tricks. Some of them are so good, even I don’t catch them—and I know what the project is!"
Great. Then what chance do any of us have?
Anyone figure out what was hidden in the dog's neck? For a moment I thought it looked like the high tower of the old Plunge station. Then again, if that's just a distraction, we have nothing.
I feel like there's tangible evidence right in front of us.
I'm fully expecting, a Spanking new Steel Giant, one or more kid oriented flat rides, Addition of games stations, Seafood restaurant, and The Thanksgiving Bridge finally covered. (Which is actually confirmed.) A friend of mine thinks they're going to relocate Hyena Falls, which is actually not a bad idea, but I don't think it will happen.

All I saw was Santa Claus.

Even if it's not just a distraction, it sure looks like you have nothing.
Which is kind of the point. 49 days of clues...and you have nothing. Nada. Not an inkling more than you did 49 days ago.
Your excitement, as I said, is adorable. But your interest in the clues is baffling to me.
I don't go for these kinds of games. Remember when Hershey did it...?
Nonetheless, if some people get enjoyment out of it, I see no harm. I've only seen a couple of the clues in passing from other sources, but wouldn't know any more than anyone else who has a pretty good idea of what would fit well.
edited to add: "Fit" means a lot of different things. Balance is important overall, but isn't necessarily determinative for any single installation.
Sorry for being excited that my home park is finally stepping up there game with a steel coaster. Please, forgive me for being sooo adorable. Guess next time, I'll just say, "Eh?" and forget about and just cut my season pass in half.
If you cut your pass in half you won't be able to ride whatever they're building that you still know nothing about (and won't until the announcement) next year when everyone has to wait until to ride it anyway.
So no, I wouldn't overreact like that. I highly advise against cutting your pass in half...for another 17 days at least.
It's ok to be excited- we're all looking forward to the announcement as well. But excited is one thing and close to 90 posts of no solid information from you is another. Besides a few pics which anyone can get, there's just continuous wild speculation, wish-lists, and vague references from you and that gets old around here. Trust me, our enthusiasm for the ride itself is not waning. But for this thread? Maybe...
As far as Paula's clues go, try to relax. None of us will ever get it 100% right and that's by design. I've made my feeble guesses based on clues, and I figure I'm wrong. That kind of thing is fun, but is usually a lot better in hindsight.
And don't cut your pass in half, you're so nearby. Instead, use it to get over there and do some real looking around. Then get back to us when you actually have something new to report.
Aww. Whatdidja have to go and be all helpful for?
*sulks and kicks the dirt*
Um... Holiday World is "finally" stepping up 'their' game? Holiday World? Home of Voyage, Legend and Raven? This is a park that needs to step up its game?

They're just lacking steel thrills. The Legend is at the point of having an EMT rush you off after the ride because it's rougher than all get out. I didn't know it was a crime to be excited. That's the whole point, disregarding the clues, we have legitimate photos and a smidge of blueprints available. The footers so far are identical to Banshee and Gate Keeper so that's a positive step in the right direction. If you think about some of the clues, they could possibly be pointing towards Wing, Invert, or Flying Coaster. But as you some people say, it could be a red herring, but I don't think HW's in the business to deceive, but anythings possible. You can't just look at the clues and say, "this doesn't make sense to me, so it's bull****." I genuinely think they want us to figure something out, or they'd atleast have some walls built around the construction. I'm not saying anything is absolute evidence, but you have to think about it. B&M's had new coasters lined out and being shipped and just a few days ago, a new track surfaced with its destination as: USA, unless it's Carrowinds, I'd say there's a decent chance. Forgive me for being excited. I'll be there on the 24th for the announcement and the 25th to see the "delivery." I'll be sure to take photos.
