Sept. 11th 2001, Slayer released God Hates Us All. The song "Disciple" uncannily describes the events of that day, as well as the antrax letters that followed.

Canyon Blaster located in the Adventuredome in Las Vegas has an amazing 75ft drop that launches you out of your seat. Something about Arrow coasters that always give amazing first drops.

Good heavens! I was about to mention Canyon Blaster! I don't know what it is about this ride's first drop, it's only about 75-90 feet tall and the coaster is inside a dome structure, but that drop sends you flying UP. Maybe that's because the trains go 15 mph rounding a bank turn before the drop/after disengaging the lift.

To be picky, Magnum's initial drop is 194 feet, with a 201 foot lift. Cedar Point now puts up 205 as the lift statistic, but back in 1989 when they unveiled this monster, they had it as 201 feet.

Viper at SFAdv
Put me down for that Gemini list... I also enjoy Batman: Knight Flight's first drop... after releasing from the lift, all mayhem breaks loose... I also love X-Flights first drop... for me it's the feeling of flying high in the air.

I love the drop on Boulder Dash at Lake Compounce.

Nitro: The most explosive coaster ever!
My all time favorite drop has to be seat 84 (last row right side) on Raptor.   The swooping drop takes my stomach every time,  especially with that feeling of being yanked around that curve.

My 2nd favorite would have to be Gemini, i still feel this drop seems more intense than Magnum's and i have no reason why.

Honorable mentions definitely go to Batman:KF, Viper at SFMM, and Kumba.   And even though not a coaster, Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls has a killer drop for the size.

Demon at SFGAm. Lot's of negative G and you float if you're in the back, Does't get much better than that.
Steel Eels drop is about 150 ft.  You float the whole way down.  Then there is that slight curve to the left at the bottom right over the lake.

I Survived Millennium Force!

1.) Millennium Force 2.) Steel Eel 3.) Raptor 4.) Mantis 5.) Magnum XL-200

Back in 1989, Magnum was announced to be 201ft. but I think there was either a change in design,or the computer technology back then was really that bad. Remember that there was a 1 foot gap between the last pieces of track that were to be installed too...

Ditto to whoever said Cornball Express in the back seat.  That thing just rips you out of your seat.  I also have to agree about Gemini.  For only being 125 ft. tall, the drop takes my stomach away every single time, especially in the back seat.  For ones no one has said yet, how about CP's Corkscrew and PKI's King Cobra, both in the back seat.  Both drops are extremely gut wrenching.

Since there are only 18 full circut coasters with a drop over 200' this leaves a lot of choices.  I still the love the Beast's first drop for its visual layout.
I thinks Tennesse Tornado is on if the best dropsin the world.  You have some good speed going into it and its entierly in a tunnel so it feels like your going alot faster than you are.
