Gay buzzers

Yeah, it is sad that this site has become a dating service for homosexuals. I personally have nothing against gay people other than the fact that homosexuality represents the destruction of the human race. If you disagree with this statement, then you must have failed or at least had trouble with biology.

Actually, overpopulation of the human race is becoming a serious problem. Over consumption of resources, pollution, and destruction of the environment are all results of increasing human expansion. There are even countries like China enforcing strict measures against families having more than one child. Point being, more homosexuals would actually be good for the race by helping keep the population under control.

phydeax, I don't see this thread as a problem, so I don't get you point. Sure anyone has a right to post, my question is, why would you WANT to be associated with a gay thread, unless your curious about it? Given that you've also posted twice instead of ignoring it, shows you've got some curiosity as well.

I always find it interesting to read and discuss lifestyles other than my own, thus the name, Outkast. Never been one to care much what people think of me personally.

Perhaps It's natural, afterall Mother Nature has a way of fixing things all on her own.

im not gay, i know that, but my best friend is. He is one of the coolest guys i know, he will do anything for anyone. we have alot of gay people at my school. Teachers, students, matenice (sp?) they are the nicest people i have ever met. they wouldnt hurt a fly. in fact i met a nice gay couple in line for NITRO one time and we had an excellent converstaion before i even noticed they were holding hands, when i noticed i asked them and they said yes they were gay, i told them i was cool with it and they said alright, i ended up telling them all about the coasters in the parks i have been to and we all wlaked around a little and had a great time. it was one of the best times i had at a park, they just could not belive i knew so much about coasters. They were such nice people, they should not be sterotyped.

Personally, I don't have a problem with any type of people. I don't hate people, I hate what they do. I'm sorry but it's been said that the Bible is hypocritical because it says love one another, yet it judges homosexuality, adultry, swearing, and etc. It's not hypocritical. It promotes loving each other and not hating each other, but hating sin, that's not hypocritical. I can respect anyone as I person, and I will do so, but I'm not going to respect the desicions some people make.

mforcealldaway, That is a trully insightful comment. One of the few I've seen in this thread.

I just hope that you are not assuming how I choose to behave based on the fact that I am Gay. Believe it or not even though I have been blessed to be gay, I still refrain from sin.

Ladies and gentlemen this place is to talk about coasters not gay peaple or non religous peaple this is a place where you leave that crap behind and have fun!I dont think that being gay is right at all. Its against my religion and everything I stand for.Its pretty amazing im 13 years old and have already been taught to hate gays or sac religious firgures. You know why because it comes up in places like this the last place I wanna have to deal with it.One thing I cant stand is when a gay person rubs everyones nose in it by everyone i mean us strait peaple.Sorry this has nothin to do with coasters but had to get it of my chest.Oh and god loves you all .

WOW I hope you feel better now SFOT rules.

If you don't want to deal with it, why read the thread?

Personally I'm still hoping for some more info regarding the Orlando area Gaydays.

mforcealldaway - Maybe my experience and knowledge of homosexuality is limited and not 100% accurate, but of the dozens of gay people I've known in my life, not one has made a choice to be gay. They just are gay. And that is why what you're saying is very hypocritical to me. You are basically dismissing homosexuality as some sort of sinfull, immoral choice one has made in their life, and I just don't buy that argument.

As my best friend in high school put it to me on the night he "outed" himself to me : "Why would I chose to have my father disown me, and my god not love me?"

Think about that.

That makes a lot of sense, chris.

Myself, I am straight. I happen to have a few gay friends, but I don't think twice about them. What difference does it make?

How much more floorless can they get?

One thing I don't understand is people who rail against "non-coaster" threads, yet can't resist clicking on them anyway. It really has given me a good laugh, and says something about the impulsiveness of our society. Alright, time to move on, nothing more to see here. LOL

Gay folk,

Even with the best intentions, these type of threads will never be accepted here. Regardless of whether or not the mods decide this is ok material, it will always be infiltrated by those who oppose homosexuality. Whoever started this thread wanted to find out who was gay, but it's degenerated like all the rest before it. Right or wrong, you're fighting a losing battle. My suggestion is to find a gay coaster site out there to mingle about who's who. Keep the general coaster conversations (androgenous) here.

Hymmm, why don't I see your comments on in the "who are you" thread Rubberducky? Hypocritical? I think so...

For the 3,000th time, why are you guys continuing to post in this thread if it's so inappropriate?

I didn't post my comment in there because a lot of them have said how long they have been enthusiasts and such...and I keep posting in here to prove a point.

I am not homophobic, but why are there so many gay enthuisiasts? It's a bit strange. Well this argument is going nowhere and getting pretty stupid. I know i saw one reference to 9/11 in this thread and I bet there were more. For some reason Americans can't get over what happened becuase we live in a sheltered world. So many things are tied back to those attacks. I keep hearing a post-9/11 world, what does that mean, the only thing that has changed is airport security and even that isnt holding up well ( look at the recent terriost attack at LAX). And this is so off topic!

" I can respect anyone as I person, and I will do so, but I'm not going to respect the desicions some people make."

Homosexuality is not a decision. It just is. It's this kind of ignorance that I can't stand (sigh). Oh well. Some people are tall, some are short, some are blonde, some are bald, some are gay. It just is. And two people loving each other is not a sin, no matter what. There's not enough love in this world, so why condemn what little there is? I just don't understand people sometimes.

Why post on a topic that we all know is gonna piss people off? People say that we don't hate these or that kind of people, but if that were completly true, there would not be any arguing on the thread. I for one will not share my opinion of gays or straight people.

but there is one opinion I'll share...

Alright! While we're talkin' controversy, let's talk about the Pledge of Allegiance!!! Woo :)

I think the judge that made that ruling is a weenie. I can't believe he backed down.

See, one of my favorite parts of the foundation of this country is the intention the Founding Fathers harbored that was to prevent the tyranny of the majority. In this instance, the obvious demonstration that such tyranny was alive and well scared me to my very core. I'm surprised I'm so alone in this.

Oh, and I'm not a moron, thank you. I'm an anarchistic college student. Wait, I'm not that, either.

I take no issue with the phrase 'Under God,' other than that it seems to be a violation of the desired separation of Church and State. Similarly, I'd be more than happy to see 'In God We Trust' removed from money, and the Bible taken from the courtroom. All of this, of course, in the interest of maintaining the integrity of the Constitution of the United States.

Again, that's just me. Your mileage may vary. I am saddened, however, that knowledge of our country's rich and diverse history is on the waning end of popular culture, and, as a result, people forget the very reason they're allowed to express their opinions of dissent.

Everyone, remember, words don't hurt anyone unless we allow them to rot inside our minds. So long as one Coasterbuzzer doesn't take arms against another, I'm glad to see all of the opinions expressed on the forums. Just don't expect me to be riding next to some of y'all :)

Why the hell did you have to bring that up? What's the point? I'm don't believe in God either, want to start accusing me of something? I hate all this religious holier than thow crap that's been thrown around in this thread. Unless you are God, don't judge anybody else. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. And last time I checked the 10 Commandments didn't include thow shalt not be gay, so get over the gay is against religion. In case you aren't smart enough to realize it, the Bible has been interpreted from various languages by different churches to say what they want it to say. People read too much into it or take it too seriously. Codergirl said it best, it's just a book of lessons and morals than even someone like me (athiest) can gain insightfulness from and become a good person. See ya in hell ;)
WOW there are a lot of posts in this. I am gay, but I honestly don't think that these threads should exsist at Coasterbuzz. All they do is end up making people mad. Everyone has different views on things, and these threads make them clash together, resulting in flaming and angry/stupid comments.

1. This has come up time and time again, with the same results.

2. The point that we can have threads about buzzers who are rail fans, car buffs or gay are all perfectly valid topics of conversation because they are important issues to our community. If you don't want to be a part of the global community, I suggest you shut off your computer, stay home and never come out. Some people will be different than you, and they probably couldn't give two blades of grass that you don't approve of them.

3. I'm closing this topic because I really don't want to see it get more out of control. I also don't want to see people I have thus far respected say something that will drop them down from my respect list.

Carry on...
