Again--same invite as was made to Sir Willow. If it's pointless, you know how to click elsewhere. There's your own 'logic' for you and everyone else to see. Just like with him, I'll use no other reasoning bt your own.
Of course, just like him you'll post again and prove yourself a hypocrite. The thread is only 'pointless' because no one cares for your 'point.'

The CPlaya 100--6 days, 9 parks, 47 coasters, 2037 miles and a winner.....LoCoSuMo.You are absoloutly right CoastaPlaya, I guess I am a little bit out of reach trying to deter everyone from being upset about spam (even if you know how the addresses were obtained and were they came from). I come to this website to find out interesting news about the hobby I love (that is riding roller coasters). It is not my job to attempt to moderate the forums. Its just my opinion that everyone is just making a big deal out of nothing and I felt as if I needed to express that. I do know that I have the option to "click elsewhere" and I keep that in mind every time I come to this site. Its just things like this that make me shake my head and wonder why the hell we are not talking about roller coasters. I just think that this is something Jeff should take up with the people responsible, and not something that should be allowed to stew up emotions for no good reason. This site is designed to keep conversation on the straight and narrow, and this is one example where the very people who apply the rules are for some reason letting this go for no other reason than to start some sort of "Roller Coaster website showdown". Its stupid and childish in my opinion, and i'll no longer try to keep you all from getting all worked up for no good reason. Thanks for reading my post.

So...did anyone ride any coasters so far this weekend? Or are you all still content to argue in this thread when you could be out having fun?
The door or the window, 'Moosh--take your pick. :)
But to answer your question--of course I did. I did an evening stopover on the 4th just to see how things were going for the 'little park that could.'
The waterpark was awful, but not as bad as expected. Corporate bookings must be atrocious this year--VF had a one-plate-only buffet for $10 in the picnic area inside the park (which is usually booked solid). WT was silky as it's been all summer, but I fear for its continued excellence--the first two brakes runs might be getting a little loud. PT's Space Shot had a little pop of air at the top, better than it's been. The fireworks were merely okay...not even close to the nightly laser/fireworks spectaculars of the '00 and '01 seasons. Toward the end of the evening, SV went down and was out of commission for the rest of the night. Today's weather looks a little threatening, and if SV is down too I might pop back over--counting on smaller crowds.
Okay mini-TR aside, 'Moosh basically proves the validity of my recent point. If you're sooo not into people upset at the spamming, talk about something else. If you'd rather tell other people what to do, then you ARE part of the argument. Don't kid yourself.

People log on, like it and develop their own comedic styles. How many times have we seen it? We've watched DawnMarie, Maddie, TecknoScorpion, opthodoc, all sorts of people go from literally posting "gee, I wish I was witty" to becoming point man (woman) for the next punchline.
Isn't that special? ;)
Edit: Yeah, I got that email from thrillnetwork, too. ;)
