In response to coasterking, the track looks to be about 300 feet tall and the structure looks to be topping 350 feet tall. Also if you notice that the inline twist starts at about 200 feet tall and is only about halfway completed, we can conclude that the coaster should top 400 feet.
Chuck, who isn't sure about those curved pieces he seen. Could just be the station turn.
well if you look, the white stripes would hint to you that the train must travel over it in a hillish fashion... so while i have no evidence to prove theyre for the tophat, i do have evidence to prove they arent for the station turn...

Anyways, why would Intamin use box track for a turn into the station? On every new coaster I have seen from Intamin, the turns into the station use the 2 rail track, since there isn't a need for the extra steel.

JD, I get your meaning, It is difficult however to tell what part of Box Track is the running side.
Nessy, Great observation, That wasn't even on my mind. Sure Intamin uses three different styles based upon stress need.
Chuck, who says the ride should be a BLAST but is one of those that don't think height and speed have anything to do with how good a coaster is.

Is it about coasters or friends? I say both!
i just love how people here have issues on a turn into the station, or that the ride is going to be crap just being Launch, Top Hat, Brakes (which it is). There is still a revolutionary twist on the ride that not one person will know, or figure out what it is until the announcement.
Facts:
420 feet (approx)
launch, top hat, brakes
speeds in upper 110-120
will have a 270 degree twisting vertical drop
and thats all the information that I can divulge at this time, also I am 95% sure of it's name, right Brett? ;-)
They put up the archived shots at night so there is something to look at, not just a black picture.
This is what it looks like now http://cedarpoint.com/_cpcam/cam3_0000000001.jpg

UGH!
for somebody to bring that up again i should kill you guiness decided, we decided, it rolls, it goes up and down, IT IS A COASTER! I love cp but a hate for the mountain just does not justify a stupid debate. GET OVER IT! it is bigger and taller then mf and only dwarfed by 16!
First of all, I was joking. Secondly I don't have a hate for the mountain. But I'm not a cp fanboy either. It was satirical and you took the bait.

You can hear the laughter, you can hear the mighty roar. From the brickyard down in Indy to the white Chicago shore. It's a rollin', twistin', turnin' and might we both suggest. You get you fanny ridin' on the Cornball Express!

I just had a wild thought. What if the pyramid had two triangular arms sticking off it? It'd look like a star or pentagram viewed from the end/station. The 'star' could be painted in patriotic colours.
Or not...
