Congratulations Lord Gonch...

You made ARN&R! Site o' The Weak.
Why is it okay for you to voice your opinion and not others? Though I generally think the guy that runs the site is a good cat, I most often find the humor less than humorous.

(there, I "bashed" ;))

They can bash all they want, but when you see those Oh so sexy theme park cups, I'm sure they'll understand;).

Clint-who hopes Gonch knows I'm just joshin. Can't wait for the new look to go online-b.

Many people on this site seem to have issues with people expressing opinions that aren't in line with theirs. There... I bashed too. Just a broader kind of bashing!
Lets not get into that Opinion Bashing thing again, Rob ;).
I forgot that you were one of those told that you couldn't express an opinion! Welcome to the club, friend ;)
I really don't care what your opinion about the site is. That's not at all what I'm saying.

Every time someone mentions ARN&R there's always a bunch of people who rant about how stupid the site is. I just figured that didn't have to happen this time.

That was all I was saying. ;)

I'm just happy for Gonch...I know my first appearance in ARN&R was one of the highlights (lowlights?) of my *ubergeekdom*...:)

I guess I'm just one of those that appreciates people wo can, and do, laugh at themselves....you should see me looking in the mirror sometime, now THAT is funny (looking)...;)

Right Thinking: adj. Agrees with me.

It's amazing to see what some can post when others have their posts deleted that pertain more toward the amusement industry.

I guess only few have to follow rules around here.

Phew, good thing you figured that out quickly, Rookie!

Welcome to Coasterbuzz! :)

OMG I have a new sig!!!

The nice part is that is wasn't a total dis. They gave props on the pics and the site in general. Very cool.

The only problem is that they exposed that area as the lame filler content that it really is. I like to think I had everyone fooled into thinking the cup thing was solid.

My prediction: In 2005 a slew of sites devoted to the amusement park souvenir cup.

Those on the cutting edge are always the first to be mocked. ;)

Sad part is, I have quite a few of those myself. LOL! :) Hooray for Ubergeekdom™ (used with permission)

I thought those on the cutting edge were always the first to mock THEMSELVES...:)

That's prob. because no one else is *properly qulaified*...;)

How is this an Off topic post, Rookie? Gonch is a member of this site. He has a site about amusment parks/coasters. ARN&R is a satire site about the industry. Gonch collects amusmentpark cups. This happens to be an amusment park site. Gonch put pix of his cups online.

I fail to see how this is off topic.

Oh. Right. You just felt like complaining and being whiney. Nice going.

I totally want that dinosaur cup so I can harass all the bettas in vases at work. :) *** Edited 12/2/2004 5:50:07 PM UTC by dawnmarie313***

What the hell are you talking about? I don't remember the last thing I deleted, or even what it was about. I'm sure the other mods would tell you the same thing. The community is self-policing. Do something stupid and people will jump on you for it, like they're doing now.

The funny thing is, the whole, "CoasterBuzz mods are jerks that delete everything" theory is propagated by people that don't participate, don't visit the site, or themselves spend entirely too much time caring about such things. Boo freakin' hoo! *** Edited 12/2/2004 5:53:24 PM UTC by Jeff***

Heh, Swoosh - at least I'm not the only one.

The truth is it began by accident. We'd pick one or two up at the park (for the cheaper drinks) and they'd find their way home and in a cupboard somewhere. Before too long, I realized I inadventently started a collection.

Well beyond Emgee on this one. :)

My friend still has his SFA cup from 2001 (the day after I saw Janet, I'll never forget!).

I usually buy a shot glass everywhere, but for some odd reason, I didn't buy one from any park this summer except PCar, and now I have 3 of those. Guess it gives me a reason to go back to CP, GLP, SFKK, and PKI next year.
