Coasting for Kids 2010?

I was asked by a friend over the weekend if there would be a Coasting for Kids event this year.

If I could I would like to put in a preference for the event to be held on a Sunday. I am also willing to help in anyway possible.

Yes, there will be an even this year... a really big one, in fact. Stay tuned...

I realize the reasoning for doing it on a weekday. But, I would also vote for a Sunday.

A really big one, huh? With all the money that was raised last year, I can't imagine how much will be made at the end of this years event. :)

If the date is set already, it would be great to know when it is. That way I have a better shot at working it into my schedule.

I am excited about this. I really wanted to participate last year but I was on the other side of the country at the time. This year I shouldn't be (I hope).

There are no dates. We'll let you know when we know.

Hmmm, dates. As in more than one?

I thought there was talk at last years event that this year's Coasting for Kids was going to take place across some/most of the Cedar Fair's chain. So, that would make sense RatherGoodBear.

As long as something happens at Cedar Point or Kings Island, I'll be there again. :)

I didn't get to participate last year, but I am really interested this year, ESPECIALLY if it was held at different parks besides Cedar Point.

It was a blast last year. Why? because Chuck Norris said so!
I'm looking forward to another Coasting for Kids when ever and where ever it happens!

Lol, I forgot about the Chuck Norris jokes that were going on. Plus all the times the crew would "accidentally" mention something about Whyte Lightening.

Just had a client ask about this. She wants to donate again. Funny thing is she is on the national MDA board of directors. She also sings a bit.

Will let you know when I know... I think they're getting close to nailing something down.

I've got a date for you... July 29...

...at 11 different parks, simultaneously.

Heck yeah, that's fantastic!

I am ABSOLUTELY interested in this. I didn't get the opportunity to participate last summer, so you can SO definitely count me in. Marathoning my favorite ride(s) for a good cause?! What a clever idea!

Sounds like participation in this event is going to skyrocket from last year. Awesome move, Jeff!

I'm still not sure if I'll be able to make it out, depending on location and scheduling, because I don't have any local passes again this year, but I'm more about GKTW than I am about coasters these days, so I'd definitely love to take part.
