Coasting For Kids 2009: 8/26 at Cedar Point

Two more today...

Looks like there is a combined total of over $4,000 so far! No matter if you've raised $50 or $1000, everyone deserves a huge pat on the back for participating in this event.

I had the opportunity to visit The Village last April and it was nothing short of life-changing. The kids' anticipation leading up to their visit, their fun-filled week on location and the happy memories afterwards are, by far, the best driving force in these families' lives to stay positive day-after-day. This is a great event for such a worthwhile cause-- way to go Jeff & Susie!

Is anyone going up tuesday night? We should get together at Thirsty's for some drinks!

I was considering coming Wednesday morning. But, I would have had to leave home by 4:45am and get up earlier than that. That's all assuming there's no accidents during rush hour. Spending the night in Sandusky will get me another hour or so of sleep and ensure I'm there on time.

Anyone want to split a room? I have one with 2 beds at the Sandusky Inn & Suites. They have free internet. With taxes it's $46.06

I already live in Sandusky, so any kind of meet up the previous day I am in for!

I booked a room at the Home Town Inn for a total of $51. I'll be getting there around 4:30 tomorrow and going to the park or Kalahari, I am not sure yet. This saves me some sleep so I don't have to wake up at 4:30 on Wednesday.

My friend and I (who are both participating! YAY) will be at Bayshore between 6 and 7 tomorrow! We're both down for a meet up of any kind :) I'll most likely be going to the park tomorrow evening if nothing is planned.

Just wondering if you filled all the spots yet. I was wondering if me and my friend could sign up today we both have $50 to pay for it. We had to wait to get paid. It says its ended for registration but we would like to still join. Is that possible Jeff?

I'm not sure if he can. But, by my count, if he can, that would give almost 1 full train. I did a quick tally. The group total is at $5,870.06 from 27 people. A couple people still need to make their initial donation. But assuming they do, it'll push us over $6K! Great job everyone.

Check your e-mail... we can accommodate you. Three of those sign-ups (with the $0) haven't even e-mailed me per the instructions.
