I would suggest that anyone who doesn't agree with the way the sight is run to just cancel their membership. If they are so evil here, then why bother posting? I say go run your own web site and link to all the illegal picks you want. I doubt you'd get any park to agree to any event that you would try to plan with them.

Could you remind me where anyone said anything about being "evil", or "the way the site is being ran"? *** Edited 9/1/2006 9:49:00 AM UTC by indyandrew***

Overbanked turn over the water? I doubt it. Look at the height of the turn heading to the pond....You can actually get the impression that as it goes around that turn that it will actually make a swooping dive and kind of make like what appears to be a figure 8 (ish) shape to it.

I think it is starting to come together for me a little bit. Though the full specifics are not. I already can see though how some enthusiasts could be rather disappointed with i (Ie: No high enough, not fast enough, you know all the excuses too). I can also see what Jeff mean that this may be the best thing that they have built in a while. It looks like it will be very GP friendly so far. It looks like it could be rather fun and very different.

Most of something? My guess is the most "sidewinding"! LOL! It could have the most loops but I am not yet convinced on that....but I was wrong on it not looping at all.

EDIT - spacing issues... *** Edited 9/1/2006 11:32:33 AM UTC by beast7369***

Man your really getting old with your bickering about the pics posted close to a week ago. Really old and of course more and more off topic, which is a violation of the rules.

So if I may, I'd like to make a suggestion: DROP IT.... Quit crying over spilt milk, and complaining about who stepped on your little toes.

Anyways, back to the subject: I'm wondering what people are going to call this ride after it is built? IMO everything is the one trick ponie or something to that effect. Is it going to be the double digit trick pony? lol...

Im just kind of curious to see how tall this bad boy is going to get, and where the rest of the ride will be. By the look of the size of the turns its going to be going pretty fast which would indicate a large size ride.

Ok, man. I apologized last page and said I'd drop it. Why can't you do the same? *** Edited 9/1/2006 12:50:47 PM UTC by Coasterbuzzer***

So Overbanked turn? I was one of the first to mention this, and I still stand by it. Over by snake river, the footers in the water, there are more than enough to have at least 3 turns over the water. Since this is Intamin, (have we come to a conclusion?), Looking at MF's over banked turns, I can see the possibility of an over banked turn. (2 footers for each support. But also if that's the case, there are quite a few oddly shaped supports by breakers that could very well, allo for more track to squeeze it's way on to the supports. Thinking back to the footers, there were 2 definate horseshoe shapes in the footers, and 3 random footers, that didn't fit the shape at all. So those maybe significant soon.

As for a brake section for multiple trains, doesn't MF have no brakes, but they run 3 trains? But of course, we know that they don't lift a train until the train cruising the track has gone over the hump by the station. So maybe there will be 3 trains, 1 in loading, 1 in unloading, and 1 crusing the track. And possibly 4 trains if the lift is used.

As for the station, as a photographer, I would like to get one last shot of WWL before they tore it down. A regular patron probably wouldn't even notice that it was a station, and maybe it's becoming scenery. But from a soon-to-be designer's POV, I would renovate the station, and turn it into lines, and possibly another store to sell Maverick stuff, and on ride photos or lockers. But I think they may use it for something.

It sure looks like whoever came up with that facebook.com layout a dozen pages ago was pretty much spot-on, except for the heart line of course. What are the chances that was an early model before the inversions were added to the design?

The *only* thing about that I find not-too-believable is where it says LSM, I *kinda think* it should say LIM.

Geez, I was just going to mention that there are new pics from yesterday up at Pointbuzz and I have to follow THAT message?

You have disturbed the forbidden temple, now-you-will-pay!!!

Looks like it's going to be another great ride.

Have we decided exactly what kind of coaster it's going to be?

haha i don't think we are much closer from when we started except we know it has inversions, LIM or LSM, and its going to be a pretty wicked coaster

That is my favorite picture.

And unless something wicked comes up, or the train is different, new type what ever, I think it's save to say some kind of accelerator.

Why is only that one part of the ride covered with plastic, special?

I wonder what's coming next, now that the ground is covered and the only way is up.

FAST TURNS!!!

The plastic is there because they were pouring concrete, and the boom was stretched over the top, and they wanted to prevent any spillage problems.

^ Is that your idea?

Because if so, the launch needs to be shorter, and the launch part is pretty dull. But I don't know, in the picture the ride is "less dense" than the actual ride, if that makes since. The real ride is more compact, but still has alot of space, this picture spands alot of area, but idk, reminds me of the previous guess.

Is it possible that old looking track section could be set up for a photo section? Just trying to work with what I got. *** Edited 9/1/2006 3:20:58 PM UTC by BANDandDCI***

DANDandDCI - Huh?

In any case, I hope the little choo choo rumor is true, I think it would be really cool. Then again, the ground hugging layout with wild leaps above ground looks like a lot of fun no matter how large the trains are. I just think that would be a nice touch.

Complaints about not having 15 inversions or breaking speed/length/height records in 5... 4... 3... 2...

In essence, it's an updated mine ride.
