Doesn't the Tomorrowland Transit Authority at Disney World utilize LIM/LSM technology?

^Don't know. However, I do believe that the bullet trains in Japan work that way.

yea it does, I actually like the idea, but what would be the point of a LIM lift? If it were used for a launch as well, and taking the idea of a roll or any inversion like Hulk, but there's no need to waste LIMs, just as a lift.

indyandrew, I would say because it violates park rules. Why is that a hard concept to understand?
Because the picture doesn't violate park rules. The way the picture was taken violates park rules, but looking at the picture doesn't. The damage (taking the picture) is already done, so what's the harm?

Welcome back, red train, how was your ride?!

I'm happy that Mummy "wastes" LIMs that way....ejector over the top, baby! :)
True, looking at it does not violate park rules. However, allowing a link to the pic is as good as an endorsement to break park rules.

Jeff and Walt have both said---over and over again---that they do not allow (links to) pictures taken in a way that violates the law or park rules. Seeing as how they own the site, they get to decide this.

It doesn't matter if you don't agree with them. It doesn't matter if you don't think it would harm anyone. It doesn't even matter why they've made this decision.

It just is.

There are several other fan sites out there that are more liberal with their photography policies.

In theory, you COULD just ignore the posts that make no sense, then the bad grammar & such would just... go away.

Actually, it wouldn't.

Members who thought that atrocious grammar and spelling were appropriate would continue to post that way, and new members would think by example that it was appropriate, when it clearly *is not.* It is made clear that that sort of thing is not part of the culture here at Cbuzz and we are all better off upholding certain standards here instead of letting things deteriorate into posts that are physically painful to read.

If it was considered something that we should just ignore and let slide, it probably wouldn't be included in the agreement you have to read before you register.

I haven't read all 59 pages of this post, but I was wondering if anyone had brought up the idea that this coaster could go backwards at some point. If it started out at one LIM/lift hill and then finished at another LIM in another area, it could be shot back through all the loops and sidewinding features. I know that has been done before but not really on this scale, especially if it had the largest number of loops or was considered the longest in that type of coaster. I know it would have to have major speed to go back up the lift hill, but if the lift hill will not be very high it might be possible.
I also wondered if instead of that scenario, there might be an area at the LIM where it would switch track and then be shot through a whole different section of the ride backwards. Doesn't the new ride called Expedition Everest do that.
sry i didn't read all 60 pages Sfogswim. I must be a real nerd to not have.

Brake run?

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I'd rather think that's a launch section too. But I don't think that's a brake run, I think that's the second part of the ride, under neath the loading station of the ride.

Looks like the TRADITIONAL lift-hill to me (call me crazy)... as more supports will probably be added to it in the coming days.

However... I'm not insane nor crazy nor a geek or nerd to have read the past 60 pages... I just have been keeping up daily reading each page every time I check C-Buzz & there's an update. A lot tougher when you go on vacation for a few days & find out there's a couple new pages added, but I got the jists of it...

To sum up: New coaster in 2007... there are good guesses, but I'm not breaking away from what I think it could/should be. Others say launch, they may be right... I say lift 'cause that's more what I want than anything else. Kinda miss those at CP since the last two were launchers.

Or it could have both(lift and launch).

Whatever it is, it's the entire length of the rest of the project by the looks of it. All the way from the first curves to the two corkscrews. Wow.
