Sure...if you don't count Wicked Twister ;)

You know the funny thing, I was racking my brain trying to think of a CP coaster from the vintage-y years that could have possibly run backwards, or had backwards facing seats, or something along those lines.

Of course I totally forget a bright yellow 200 foot tall thingy right in the front of the park.

Hey Matt! If it'll make you feel better, when I walked into the park yesterday I went down the right side of the main sidewalk, (I usually go down the left side because I hit Raptor ASAP). I looked up at the middle of the park and literally said to myself,

"Did they move Corkscrew!?"

Yeah! I wish I were kidding.

Hmmm...when I saw those footers in the lake the first thing that came to my mind was the wide turn on this.

Or, better yet this!

LOL, with all the talk about how CP doesn't have a floorless or a flyer or a 4-D....they also could easily set record(s) with the lallest fastest *spinning coaster*...ON PLANET EARTH! :)

Inversions are overrated.
Okay, I am completely convinced that it will be deuling/racing spinning coasters.
With the string of single footers in the Swan Pond, how likely are dueling coasters? I suppose that could be part of one while the other is off doing something else...

This is crazy. I love it though, just think...a year from now we'll probably be debating about CP's 2009 attraction! Come on new woodie!

Interesting links Moosh, they do look similar. I'm not even going to bother to guess as to what it is, I'm not in the know and probably never will be, I'll just enjoy all the debate and speculation.

Those pics will make the people that predicited "family oriented" coaster(s) happy.

You have disturbed the forbidden temple, now-you-will-pay!!!

I remember back when MF + X came out, there was a coaster war topic on here that asked; "if x and mf were right next to each other, which line would you go in first." People said it was like comparing apples and oranges, but now it might actually be happening, a 4d next to mf. :)

Peace cannot be kept by force. It can only be achieved by understanding

inversions are overrated

not at Cedar Point

Its not a wild mouse

Its not a spinning coaster

Its not a 4D (at least not ss/arrow 4D)

I have no clue what it is (other than its intamin) but I have a damn good clue as to what it is not.

I don't really care to speculate. I'd just rather wait for the announcement. 1000 ft Fishhook coaster out over Lake Erie. Did I just say that? ;)
That would be the closest thing to a fishhook i would ever associate with lake erie :)
Does Spinning Dragons Spin at preset times on the track or does it spin differently everytime? If it were free spinning and you had a different ride everytime then I could see where "we're going in a whole new direction" would make sence. Maybe a launched Spinning Dragon?
The spinning starts at a preset time, and is then free spinning.

Yeah, back up Bronco. First CP coaster to travel backwards, perhaps?

Doesn't Top Thrill Dragster go backwards? [/sarcasm]

I think it spent more time going backwards than forwards, saturday. :(

Hehehe... You mean your not at all excited by the idea of the world's first 19 inversion Intamin looper??? Get with it man! ;)

So apparently, we've "seen" the track, and that rules this out, but I thought the 2 Mack watercoasters at Europa were a lot of fun.

Atlantica did have a backwards section, however brief and mostly pointless it may have been.

Posiedon though is a great ride. Very fun.

I looked at the Intamin site. The only coaster IMO that looked CP worthy would be the ten inversion coaster. I doubt that CP would do another Intamin prototype coaster such as Intamin's 4D. Who knows?
