Cedar Point '07 Project

Thanks for the welcome. I am, however, not new to Coaster Buzz. Ive been on this site for quite some time, just with a different screen name. I have a strong dislike for regular contributors like Jeff, Mamoosh, and sometimes Lord Gonchar, as they have all, at one time or another, displayed characteristics parallel with that of an uppidy jerk. I do, nonetheless, plan on remaning civil, and thought I would just point out the double standard that is in effect on this website. Thanks again for the welcome.

There's a difference between a double standard and earning the right to break the rules a little bit. The mods are going to tolerate more from veteran, respected members of this community than some random guy they don't know.

I haven't been called a jerk since about 6 months ago when SFMM came up and I got called out for being HAPPY about the impending closing. Don't remember who, don't really care to rehash it. Whoever it was even *apologized* after I clarified my viewpoint. Sometimes tongue-in-cheek sarcasm is hard to read over an internet forum....

Which I why I always include plenty of these... ;)

Typically, I'm only a jerk once you get to know me in person.... :)

I wouldn't call you guys jerks, however the respect for you guys on this site is not what you think it is.

Just because Jeff, Lord and Mamoo are the biggest contributors to the site does not explain there attitiudes toward others and who they are in general.

For all I know, they could be the most uptight rude people in the world that think there gods gift to roller coasters and run an amazing web site.

This is not what I think about you three, but all people know you guys for is the CB members that know just about everything put people in there place and tell it how it is.

There is a serious lack of communication on the this website and it stinks very badly. Making people feel welcome and showing your true skills along with kindness is real leadership.

I have respect you three. I'm not gonna fill you guys up with self-confidence but alot of people can learn from the handful of smarty pants around this place. Not lately though because I think you guys fell off the face of the earth. Nowhere to be scene.

Just my two cents.

I'm sorry if either of you perceive some of my comments in a negative manner. If I've ever said something that you thought was me being an "uppity jerk" all you had to do was say something and I'd gladly apologize for the misunderstanding. Am I sarcastic? Yes. A smartass? You betcha! But one thing I am not is mean-spirited or heartless.

And one thing I will never do is change who I am, my sense of humor, sarcasm, or how I post on this site...until Jeff asks it of me

Oh, and for the record I do not dislike anyone on this site. Well, except maybe the guy who posted right above me ;)
