I bet it won't have white supports....just a hunch. I also have feeling that they're tan!

And actually, I do have a bunch of maple trees practically out in my back yard, and every fall/winter my parents are out there gathering up some homemade maple syrup. That's not too far from the truth really as they do go to a local park where they have a demonstration and bring some home lol.
The track arrived early, perhaps to give CP time to build a dueling/racing coaster that will launch and be heavily themed off the movie if they did acquire Paramount Parks, which they did. There are sections where it looks like one train (fighter jet) would be chasing another train, maybe the over water section. Plus there are sections where there will be very sharp turns, like fighter jets make.
"We're going in a whole new direction" might hint to:
:CP Heavily theming this ride (especially off of Paramount)
:changing direction quickly during the ride
:CP not building the tallest, fastest
; It sure doesn't refer to the choices of ride manufacturer or to the color.

I think the code name "Maverick" refers to the main character in the movie Top Gun, which was produced by Paramount which CF now has the rights to.
No. For so many reasons.
First and foremost, this is Frontier Land. Have you been to CP? (No, im not being sarcastic).
Second, CP did not buy Paramount, they bought their parks. CP has nothing to do with any movie rights.
Third, this was mentioned WAY back...but threads like these have a way of going round in a circle.
A location in Frontier Town.
References to ten gallon hats in the CP blog.
Signs that say things like "Howdy, Pardner!" and "Hold onto your spurs!" and "Blaze the Trail."
By golly you may be right. It all screams FIGHTER JETS to me, too!
