Cedar Point '07 Project

I seems the track is oddly laid out in some symetric patterns. Could it be that the coaster is a "delayed" chasing/dueling coaster? That the tunnel launch section is timed to interact with the initial lift section? This would be a first that you get both experiances from one ride... just a thought...

Wow! You can't make this stuff up. This is really good. I'm sorry I was away for three days. Hope you don't mind if I borrow this stuff to test the writers we are interviewing.

I think a lot of folks would forgive your butchering of the English language if you were able to make something that resembled a clear thought. But I get the feeling that you get really excited and type too fast. Slow down. Collect your thoughts. Re-read what you wrote before you post, and the board will be all the better for it.

OK. OK. I'm being a hypocrite to some degree. I'll try to follow my own advice too. ;)

Has the banner on Cedar Point's site always been from the back of the park like that? I don't ever remember seeing Mean Streak in the front of the animation.

Yeah it has been that way for a while.

The whole racing idea sounds fun, but I'm not sure it would work out. What if one train in the station was taking a really long time to load because someone vomited or they were loading someone in a wheelchair? The train waiting to launch would just be sitting there in the tunnel.

My best guess would be that if it is a kind of hybrid single-tracked racing coaster, they would have to load two trains at once and move them forward at the same time, a la Dragster. Plus, I don't think the first half and second half of the track quite line-up enough to be deuling/racing. *** Edited 9/5/2006 6:18:46 PM UTC by Shivtim***

I mean, will it be first thing when I wake up in the morning, or do I have to wait until like... 11am or even mid-afternoon before an official announcement?

The time ticks, and Wednesday will be the longest day in a looooooong time for Cedar Po!nt fans!

No one knows. Press will know around 3 or 3:30 am, but who knows when the GP will know.

The GP have computers as well, and if any of them came onto this board, then they already know.

A GP is not a GP if he takes the time to find this site, and worse starts reading discussion threads. At that point he ceases to be a Lemming and becomes "one of us" the few, the proud, the geeky and coaster obsessed.

For a second there, I thought you were going to refer to that type of GP as being officially CP brainwashed.

When I said GP, I meant anyone who is not privlaged media.
