I don't know what you guys are talking about, I just went on there and it is working fine. perhaps the server just became overwhelmed for a brief period.

You realize even after the announcement is made there's still going to be construction to watch and more things to discuss, right? Even if this thread were closed there would be another thread in the forum to follow all of that post-announcement...

and someone was right about the chasing coaster it looks like one is chasing the other at certain points and dueling at the one point after the zero g roll and the other drops from the chain...

The deuling is only going to work when they dispatch at exactly the right interval, or they hold one train in the launch tunnel to wait for the train in the station to dispatch. Don't really see either happening but could be wrong.

The low to the ground zero-g roll looks mindblowing and the themeing looks much more involved than I had expected just looking at the rendering.

What's the structure we'll be passing through right after the first drop?

No, it's me indicating that a discussion about the relevancy of the height of the ride in terms of its visibility means absolutely nothing to the way the park designed the ride, placed the ride or will market the ride.

Did anyone notice how small the trains are?

The trains are only 3 cars long! I bet it will have to have at least 4-5 trains. I wonder how big it's capacity will be?

Which was exactly my point to begin with so with us in agreement, I apologize for assuming that anything you said previously was directed at myself. ;)

If I had to make a guess:

blocks 1 and 2 in the station [tandem loading, 2 trains at once].

block 3 between station and lift, possibly as acting as a "hold" section while train ahead clears lift.

block 4 consisting of the lift hill.

block 5 consisting of first drop to under-station pass.

block 6 consisting of launch section.

block 7 consisting of launch section up to brake run.

blocks 8 and 9, made up by the end brake run and the "hold" brakes pre-station.

Nine blocks total making 6 train operation a cinch ;)

yeah actually i think you are right but im thinking maybe a 5 car change and they hold one at bottom of right before the section before lift

Jeff, with all due respect to the site you've put together, I dont think it is necissary for you to act above the rest of us. Discussing the ride's visibility IS a topic worthy of merit. It can determine who will ride it, and how people will perceive it. All ive seen in your posts both here and at pointbuzz has been negativity, and utter distain for anybody with a post count lower than 4,000. This thread is more than 70 pages long, there is no reason to freak out about someone mentioning the visibility! Everything else has been mentioned! And god forbit they repeat something already covered, because then you'll turn on your flame gun extra high.

I think you, as the creator of a place for people to talk about amusement parts in a community, should be the LAST one to deal out criticism to all your members. Ive been a member/lurker of CB for 4-5 years now, and the only impression ive ever got from you is that you're an elitist who uses his 'in the know' status to talk down to a couple thousand coaster geeks.

I understand this is probably not the place for a message like this, but I had to get it off my chest, and lord knows it would be deleted in 2 seconds anywhere else on the site

I am still trying to figure out the concept of 'the leak'....was it intentional or accidental.

Honestly, I am intrigued at the marketing value of the leak, as I majored in Business Admin in college, and could use the same tactic in my business-job.

Reasons why it not being visable wont matter:

1. Its right by/can be seen from the train, MF's hill, TTD, Magnum's hill, Gemini's Hill, MS, Power Tower, Mantis and all of Fronteir Town. People are going to know its there.

2. Unless you are a coaster enthusiast only spending 1-2 hours in the park, you are going to make the loop so you will see it at one point.

3. CF as they allways do will advertise thier new ride.

4. Oh yeah, people arent going to not go to the park because "it cant be seen" from the road, if that was the case no one would ride the Beast at PKI.
